“I know that Poland isn't paradise on earth either, but it is much better off than Albania. Indeed there are many Polish immigrants overseas, but there is a significant difference between us and Albanians.”

You are doing the same mistake as u did before. The point was not to compare who is better than whom but rather your reaction against a funny comment written by a troll. That tells me very much about your personality as an “old” commentator here.

“Of the 60 million Poles worldwide, 40 million live in Poland, while of the 9 million Albanians worldwide, only 3.5 million live in Albania. So there is something to compare.”

Again totally inaccurate. From 9 million Albanians worldwide 3.7 mill. Live in Albania while 2 mill. in Kosovo and about 600 – 700k in Macedonia which means around 6.5 mill. in the area (not to discuss the historical content). They are ethnics in their homes and not immigrants as the Poles are outside Poland. In comparison to the polish ration I think is something to compare isn’t it.

“Anyway, my aim was not to put Albanians down in any way, my aim was rather to make it clear to Albanians that they are in no state to put down any other European nation in any way, especially not when it comes to economy, like The Albanian did (unless he is indeed not Albanian, but I have seen many like him here, so I would not be surprised to tell you the truth)”

Albanians on here are much more moderated then hardcore nationalists counterparts. No Albanian serious commentator so far has put down any European nation on contrary to the Serbs who put dawn every EU nations who has recognized Kosovo. If you compare the ratio then there is no point to discuss it. But your reaction is just natural as I remember personally that we have argued together many times. I don’t care about your opinion at all as you have proved to be just troll behind trolls and not valuable in this forum. Even concerning the topic on here you can see that no serious Albanian commentator has written anything bad about Romanian president. On contrary some commentators need to be praised for their maturity.

“Meanwhile, Albania declared war on America in WWII along with Germany, Italy and others, the Poles decided to fight againt the Nazi Blitzkrieg.”

Check your clock man. It seems to be far behind in time. During WWII Albanian was in 1939 occupied by Italy and then in 1943 by Nazi Germany so there was no chance to declare war on US and its allies since we fought against Italy and Nazi which resulted in 28000 heroes in battlefield.

I know that Poland isn't paradise on earth either, but it is much better off than Albania. Indeed there are many Polish immigrants overseas, but there is a significant difference between us and Albanians.

But many Poles are returning to Poland, since this is the only country which recorded economic growth in the whole EU, and there are many Ukrainians, Belarussians and even some Germans coming here now.

Of the 60 million Poles worldwide, 40 million live in Poland, while of the 9 million Albanians worldwide, only 3.5 million live in Albania. So there is something to compare.

Also, I am aware there is a lot of low class trash from Poland ruining our good name in Western countries, but hardly anything compared to the traffickers, pimps and other hardcore criminals that are represented by Albanians abroad.

Anyway, my aim was not to put Albanians down in any way, my aim was rather to make it clear to Albanians that they are in no state to put down any other European nation in any way, especially not when it comes to economy, like The Albanian did (unless he is indeed not Albanian, but I have seen many like him here, so I would not be surprised to tell you the truth).

I wonder why Albania didn't threaten to cut its financial aid to Romania if it didn't recognize Kosovo? Albania is economicly most powerful in Balkans and have to show other countries how to develop its economy.

I gave this one a tick of approval as it was obviously written by a witty Serb.

Piotr why don't you elucidate as to why Poland, an EU member, sends armies of immigrants to every EU member, including Portugal and Greece, tow fo the worst performign EU economies.
Not to metnion America, where Chicago is home to largest Polish population in the world after Warsaw. There are about 10 million Poles in the U.S. alone. Care to explain?
(Zoti, 10 June 2010 17:36)

If Peter would allow, it's becuase the Poles were invaded by the Nazi's in WWII and the worst holocauast occured to that nation while England and France turned their backs.

Poland was decimated and Warsaw was turned into a Ghetto. Many left the country to cities such as Chicago which is proudly home to many good standing US Poles.

Meanwhile, Albania declared war on America in WWII along with Germany, Italy and others, the Poles decided to fight againt the Nazi Blitzkrieg.

Hope than answers your question.

The Romanian president doesn't care about the law or Serbia. He just wants Serbia in the EU so he can achieve the mission assigned to him by his Western Masters. We also have a problem with hungarians, as they are quickly following the k-albanian's footsteps towards independence in that Region, and this president is their ally. There's also a Romanian Kosovo, called Bessarebia, where the majority populus is romanian, they want to be united with their country, but this president wants them to join EU, instead of unity.

If you join EU, you're making a historical mistake.

Wow, way to miss the mark guys. Is everyone just a little too supercharged on nationalism to take a step back and realize satire? Maybe it’s lost on the lower level English speakers, but “The Albanian” is mocking the Alb camp.

An economic superpower like Serbia can do it on its own.We only have like one million people living in extreme poverty and we only need 3 billion euros loan from IMF. And look how hard europe is trying to make us an EU member. But we don't want to get there because we don't like the dutch that much.

I totally agree with "the Albanian." Obviously we have all been kept in the dark regarding this beacon of light called albania due to our ignorance and lack of spirited education. Boasting a surging middle class spurred on by bio technology, space exploration, deep sea research, and environmental conservation, albania ranks in top in all relevant economic categories. All facts and figures have been verified by the Federation of Planets and the Institute of the Criminally Insane.

That post was classic and I can only hope for more! Keep it up The Albanian!

During my stay in Germany, if somebody could have told me that Poland is far much developed than Germany of course I wouldn’t react as you just have done because my education and culture doesn’t allow me. I have to tell you a lot of stories about Polish people in Germany but that is not the place.

Just to clarify...

Roma is short for Romani (with Indian origin) not Romanian.

Second, yes, Romania has not officially recognized Kosovo, but neither has it been hostile to Kosovo or Albanian interests as far as I know.
Spain, Cyprus (especially) and Slovakia have been far more outspoken in their stance against Kosovo.

Third, whether we like it or not, Kosovo's independence is controversial and based on each country's circumstances (Romania has its own concerns)
they choose to recognize or not.

It should be obvious that there is a price to pay when you do things half-assed (pardon my French)...so I don't understand the fury here.

As far as I'm concerned, the Romanian president is welcome in Albania. There's plenty to talk about and while Kosovo is important to all Albanians, it's not the ONLY thing that's important to all Albanians.

Romania is no economic miracle, but they are far richer than Albania, and the reason Albania is not in the EU yet is because it is not ready for it. Nobody has even set them a date, simply because it would not be viable to add a third world country to its ranks at the moment (or for the next 10 years).

Romania is no economic miracle, but they are far richer than Albania, and the reason Albania is not in the EU yet is because it is not ready for it. Nobody has even set them a date, simply because it would not be viable to add a third world country to its ranks at the moment (or for the next 10 years). It is you, sir, that is jealous of Romania and Greece for making it in and being better than you.

Ment

Zoti, Marinels and Mendo
