yes, i agree. stop harboring mass murderer mladic and turn him over to the hague. how hard and complicated is that? (not).

and i agree with others here: brammertz needs to grow a backbone. in a way, by developing all of these torturous rationalizations and explanations, he excuses and thus facilitates the worst of the belgrade regime -- they sent mladic's diary, in 2010!

just set the date (i already said june 1st) for mladic in the hague -- after that, everything is frozen. suddenly and only then will we see results.

These British diplomats are getting tiresome. Making statements that go nowhere nor do anything. The EU can recognize my cat if it likes, but I ask this ambassador what has it or the US done to improve the living conditions of the occupants of Kosovo in the last 11 years??????????? Who is this man trying to convince? The UK, an irrelevant country in the scheme of things, making statements on behalf of the US.
“…. there is a chance that a decision will be passed for the start of the ratification of the SAA.” I repeat my earlier comments the SAA is GUARANTEED – no questions asked. As the late Roy Orbison sang “running scared…” well that’s what the EU is doing now with Serbia running scared that Serbia may say no to joining the EU. It has to deliver to Tadic otherwise no Tadic.

This is the salient point “Also, there are many European countries that have turned towards their own problems because of the economic crisis”. Too busy worrying about the economic crises, especially since the latest information coming out of Europe involves Hungary which also on the verge of an economic collapse – like pins in a bowling alley, ha, ha, ha.
Oh! The UK also has the same level of debt as Spain so I strongly suggest that the good ambassador worry about the UK collapsing rather than abut Serbia.

Just off the top of my head the Peace of mind that when they lay down to sleep at night they do not have to fear the Serbian army or police breaking in their door and expelling them from their house then burning it to the ground is a pretty good start, don't you???

He faced the war like a man unlike the cowards who dropped all those dirty bombs on Serbia from a safe distance.

He is not hiding because he is guilty but because he has already been tried by that corrupt court and found guilty. Why would he hand himself over to a court which has already pronounced him guilty and is just waiting to get their hands on him to carry out the sentence?
