Ooops!!! Didn't Vuk say Serbia would not sacrifice its territory in order to join the EU. So, look forward to continuing to be the dark hole of Europe because a Serbian recognition will happen the day albanians stop being the burden of the Balkans which is never!

You have mentioned 5 countries that have not reconized Kosovo. I do not have to mention names of all 22 countries that recognized it. For all these 22 countries Kosovo is neighbour of Serbia. Yes it is true that formal recognition of Kosovo is not prerequisite for Serbia to join EU due to lack of recognition from countries you have mentioned. However as you can see from the text some kind of recognition of Kosovo as neighbour is condition for Serbia to join EU.

EA, perhaps you have mis-read the article; Allow me...

"Ambassador Bringeus, whose next post will be in Afghanistan, said that his country does NOT request Serbia to recognize Kosovo as a condition for its accession in the EU, but he pointed out that unless issues with neighbors are resolved, European integrations will not be possible to get completed"
-
How did you derive this to come to your conclusion ?

I am not a support of Serbia joining the EU but I can guarantee all the Albos that the SAA will be signed before the end this year. You see with the GFC and the internal EU financial problems they are desperate to have Serbia signed up.

The statement “unless issues with neighbours are resolved, European integrations will not be possible to get completed.” Is a diplomatic talk of backing down on initial conditions. This upcoming Sarajevo conference is classified as meeting that condition even though this nothing but a talkfest.

The EU has ditched condition after condition on Serbia’s entry and very few have noticed this fact. The west is so desperate that it reeks like fear. This is their last chance and if they miss out Serbia will never join plus the fear of Russian influence. What is surprising that these same people don’t see that the Russians will control the EU regardless – don’t be fooled energy is everything, the US did not invade Iraq for its health.

Firstly; The Serbian people do not want anything to do with the EU.

Secondly;. We are still waiting for the proof for your alegations you have claimed that Serbs have burned their own churches, remember the Albanian TVnetwork documentary you were talking about ? Ya, thats the one.

But Spain, Romania, Greece, Slovakia and Cyprus don't recognize Kosovo. Should they now be kicked out?

Recognition of Kosovo wasn't, isn't and won't be any kind of prerequisite for anyone joining the EU.

Thank you Mr. Ambassador
Well said. Serbia is not expected to recognize the independence of Kosovo but must recognize Kosovo as neighbour in order to join EU.
