I will give an example here only a month ago he said "Serbia and Turkey have a historical tradition of good relations," "Serbia and Turkey are strategic partners, Serbia is the most important country for Turkey in the region, and then now something like "you would pull us in the interests of Turkey's sphere", "Serbian certainly can not go on the same train to the EU and Turkey" etc. one day the biggest brother and the biggest strategic partner, the other day when he sees that "partner" does not match it immediately starts to spit.

A straight forward answer would be most appreciated.

Many people have changed their minds about Kosovo independence. It wasn't a very good idea after all. Kosovo today is independent only by name but not in reality. There is no true peace and the divisions are now greater then before. We in the Western world need to pressure the kosovar leadership to negotiate some kind of deal acceptable to serbs, since they don't seem happy with what has so far been offered. This current situation is leading serbs and kosovar albanians no where. No european perspective for the serbs and no UN for the kosovars. We need to admit it was a huge huge misstake and make things right the second time around. Serbs apparently won't budge and a military intervension is not on the agenda. A solution is to guarantee serbs the land they currently control if they then recognize the rest of Kosovo as an independet state. It looks we are heading this road anyways.

Jeremic probably think this is a great statement because he has said it over and over.

In fact, it is a demented comparison considering that Jerusalem has no ambition to become independent.

It made some sense in the 90s, but someone has to remind the youthful Serbian minister that he more than a decade late and is risking to alienate some new-found but well-deserved friends.

When will the people of Serbia finally wake up. The only thing that holds Serbia back in its defense of its province is EU integration. When that is no longer a option, real options for actually regaining control of our province will begin to show up.

It's hilarious how there is not even a voice in Serbia apart from angry nationalists that can see the EU is not all its panned out to be and there should at least be a public debate on it.

In Serbia people are taught to believe the EU is the only option and there is no viable alternative, there is. The Serbs are still the largest ethnic group in the region, still have along with Croats biggest ceiling as far as economics & business go.

Our enemies must remember, it took the strongest military alliance in the world to keep us from taking almost everything there. In those 10-15 years after communism that alliance reigned supreme and unmatched. However, this is not the case even today.

Serbia is not Yugosllavia,if you think about it ,it is only 1/6 of it.We know what Yugosllavia was,and what Serbia is today,with some 200 rusted tanks,and some 30 outdated planes.
20years from now ,Albanians will be all together in one confederate state,in much better position that landloocked Serbia!

this is simply a lie. do some more reading and you can see that the only "slavs" that came to the region then were warriors who assimilated the people who they found living there. all balkan people are a big mix of thracians, illyrians, dacians, triballians, greeks etc. "albanians" did not live there in the time you mentioned because they did not EXIST at the time. the first time the word ALBANIAN was used in the balkans was in the 12th century.

Jeremic probably think this is a great statement because he has said it over and over.

In fact, it is a demented comparison considering that Jerusalem has no ambition to become independent.

It made some sense in the 90s, but someone has to remind the youthful Serbian minister that he more than a decade late and is risking to alienate some new-found but well-deserved friends.

K-Albanians are not in any position to make extra-territorial demands to Serbia. Whatever deal the West and Serbia comes up with, you lot will have to suck it up. By demanding Presevo & rest of Albanian municipalities in S. Serbia just highlights your fascist mentality of not allowing any Albanians to live in Serbia.

When will the people of Serbia finally wake up. The only thing that holds Serbia back in its defense of its province is EU integration. When that is no longer a option, real options for actually regaining control of our province will begin to show up.

It's hilarious how there is not even a voice in Serbia apart from angry nationalists that can see the EU is not all its panned out to be and there should at least be a public debate on it.

In Serbia people are taught to believe the EU is the only option and there is no viable alternative, there is. The Serbs are still the largest ethnic group in the region, still have along with Croats biggest ceiling as far as economics & business go.

Our enemies must remember, it took the strongest military alliance in the world to keep us from taking almost everything there. In those 10-15 years after communism that alliance reigned supreme and unmatched. However, this is not the case even today.
