The EU does not recognise an independent Kosovo so what’s Feith talking about? You see the hopeless and incompetent officials coming out of this new Europe and they think that western democracies can withstand the onslaught of Asia’s new power houses.

I keep on saying that if they could change the status quo in Kosovo the US/EU would have done it a long time ago, but slowly they sink into more debt, but to keep the locals population happy come out with absurdities on that freedom loving Voice of America, the official media that took over Pravda.

Shame on the EU.
Don't ever lecture anyone again about democracy - yee don't know what the word means.
How yee can justify 'forced integration' in the 21st Century and think that it's ok is beyond comprehension.
Yee really are a dictatorial outfit with very little respect for human decency.

Gee you mean EU won't recognize illegal elections?? What a shock.

EU don't recognized illegal state in Kosovo... What a shock...

EU cannot do anything because they have not recognised UDI.
As a body they have not so as a body they cannot proclaim anything in Albanian favour and make it stick.
EULEX is there under UN mandate so what on earth is Peter Faith talking about now?

First EU must recognise Kosovo and they will NEVER be able to do that as long as there is at least one country opposing it. Cyprus has made sure it will NEVER happen.

Mr Feith, you cannot speak on behalf of EU as EU means nothing here.

"EU won't recognize elections in north"...um, who cares. Serbia is not a member and should not be concerned with what the EU thinks.

Comment: .... Seems EULEX, alba...... (EoC)

You don´t understand: EULEX is a technical mission and don´t interfere in political issues.

David

I wonder if they would recognize 'Unilateral Declaration of Independance' instead?! Or rather - who the heck cares what Peter Feith recognizes...? He has no home there, no connection to the land or people...no committment outside of making it weaker and under more control.

Good for you, sponsoring intimidation vote theft and discrimination.
If you want proof look at the other so called "serb only votes".

WHat is clear, Serbs have overwhelmingly supported the Kosovo institutions compared to the no good for Serb "hop elections".
FACT!

(toke, 29 May 2010 18:28)

You, my friend are clueless. Serbs overwhelmingly support Kosovo institutions? What universe is this happening in?

Mike

pre 13 godina

EULEX doesn't have to recognize anything. They do however have to work with what the people vote for. Feith can say whatever he wants about a northern Kosovo that will never manifest to his or Pristina's liking. By voting in Belgrade-backed elections, the north increases its consolidation away from Pristina's authority. Or lack thereof.

@ Demi -- why would you be right when the US is a socialist wreck with TRILLIONS OF $ IN DEBT and the EU is dependent on RUSSIA for its energy & economically imploding? Your masters have no political or economic power to challenge Recession survivors China, India, Brazil led by Russia.

Serbs are gonna vote and there is nothing our albanian drug running society can do about it, nor their hired mercenary beurocrats. Why so much fear, is it that Serbs will once again state their clear and complete opposition to this fake state, contradicting what the EU/West wants the world to believe.

It's just a simple vote, what's the harm...or do you hunger for armed discontent?

Demi

No Demi, I don't believe in fairytales.

They funny thing with you albanians is that you say things like "wait and you will see", you refer to history without any proof and you now talk about secret meetings without any proof. You should base your reality on what is and not what you think or what you might of heard.

This is not the first or last time the Serbs complain about the West, but why should anybody care when they behave like that?

This just shows that the EU is not interested in democracy - and it is disgusting.

Yeah sure! Seems EULEX, albanians and the Americans are powerless to stop Serbs from organizing their own elections in Kosovo.
(Mikael C, 29 May 2010 15:27)

I bet it will be the last time they will organize somthing that no one will recognize. This so called election is just for show up and gives Tadic more time to complete his mission wich is slowly recognition of Kosovo independence by Serbia. You know it and I know it. Don't you think that Tadic and Sejdiu have secret talks about the process ? I bet they do...

EULEX need not recognize anything - just to cooperate as they said they would and not to interfere. That is all we want. They'll have their hands full with Albanians after ICJ humiliation.
