This could backfire for Israel. If it does, the effects will cascade into any future agreements &/or contracts between the two countries.

"If the BIA (Serbian Intelligence Service) investigates Davinić they may find evidence implicating the Israelis in corruption." They will also probably find evidence linking half the cabinet of the time to corruption and since some of that cabinet are still present in government the Israelis will be paid, Davinic will be sent to prison in the midst of a media frenzy and quietly released 6 months later and it will be politics as usual.OR Dacic will cut a deal with him and get dirt on all his political rivals, use it to become next PM and it'll be politics as usual. One thing that you have to understand, Micheal, is that the impoverished Serbian people do not figure in the calculations of any of the enriched Serbian politicians.

Davinić was also at the centre of an earlier scandal involving the purchase of military equipment including 74,000 helmets for an army of 39,000 and 500 pilot jackets for an air force with 30 planes.

If the BIA (Serbian Intelligence Service) investigates Davinić they may find evidence implicating the Israelis in corruption. Any such evidence will immediately invalidate this “contract” and will save the impoverished Serbian people 36 million euros.
