"and i could ask why the world is so foolish to believe that they are "searching" for mladic and co. the verb is completely miscast -- they are not "searching" for him, they are covering for him, they are sheltering him, they have been and will continue to provide him/them a comforting refuge. serbia has proven an excellent refuge, but a refuge for mass murderers. that's the kind of country you wish to have for yourselves and your children (?)... Have you eny proof of any of this?
Your frustration with not having Mladic handed over is deluding you.

Why are you so hell bent on making sure that all Serbs accused of any crime are caught and sent to Hague but you have nothing to say about Ceku being sheltered by the west and never handed over to Serbia for a trial?
Are you so sure that Ceku is innocent and therefore he deserves to be sheltered, while Mladic is so guilty and deserves to be handed over to a court which has pronounced him guilty without a trial?

If only you fought for justice for all the victims instead of just the Muslims ones, you could get away with saying that you might not be opposed as much.

>“I could ask why the arrest of the Hague indictees is so difficult. Brammertz has so far been convinced that the search is going well and I hope that his next report will be as good as the previous one,” Degert told the newspaper.

if the prosecutor had the least bit of integrity and BACKbone, he would draw a line in the sand: on june 1st, he's in Hague, or everything is frozen. period. does this sound like a broken record? yes. because nothing changes there. SOS, and all of the foreign dignitaries smile and laugh and shake hands, etc. everything is forgotten, nothing has any meaning. genocide is like a chapter from an old, tattered book. just a few troublesome human rights dissidents who we can safely ignore, and brave little holland.

does this picture sound vaguely familiar at all? it should. years ago...

the conscience of the world is so very sleepy, which is a nice way of saying it's dead. the vast majority of people in serbia don't care and would never push their govt, which means they never minded so much in the first place (to genocide in bosnia and kosova.) the hague representatives play at their games and collect good salaries, which means they really don't care, and the families of the victims mean less than nothing.

the media could care less, and hardly pretends otherwise. are there any intrepid journalists there hot on the trail of mladic, for ex.? i mean, what a story, right in your own backyard, along with those troublesome mass graves. and smart, brave journalists, what are they doing? what are they being paid to do? yeah, i thought so.

somebody needs to talk about these issues, at least, but WHO is doing anything to bring these mass criminals to justice? think about it.
