well, then why do you guys keep boasting about "Kosova" being a multiethnic paradise? At the rate you are attacking the K=Serbs and driving them out, I could have sworn the last thing K-Albanians want is to be like San Francisco!

It's quite simple then Roberto, negotiate a settlement where all sides are satisfied - then the evils of war will not repeat.

Regarding Kosovo, the Rambouillet accord was purposely designed to never be acceptable to Serbia with the full occupation of Yugoslavia and a path to Kosovo independence. After several thousand deaths NATO dropped those conditions and the war ended.

Regarding Bosnia, Jose Cutileiro negotiated an agreement with all sides and all agreed (known as the Lisbon agreement). Once the US convinced Izetbegovic to reneg all hell broke loose. Several hundreds of thousands of deaths later, the Muslims of Bosnia accepted an agreement (Dayton) that gave them less than the orginal Lisbon agreement.

Western interference is the main cause fot those deaths. When playing the game of divide and conquer, these are the consequences. When you play the game of peace and reconciliation, we have different results.

You and your attitude Roberto are a part of the problem and not the path to peace. The eye on the prize you have is one side wins the other doesn't - meaning the conflict will continue sooner or later.

My prize is all sides accept a compromise and we learn to live together.

I hear he is in San Francisco with our friend Roberto. See, Roberto does not want Mladic caught because then there will be no soapbox for him to stand on and scream about Serbian injustice in the world.

How about you don't do anything else and only do the only thing that's being asked; arrest him. Start by looking at the Serbia army facilities. Also why haven't those that hid him in the army been arrested yet?

Can anyone, especially the EU, be so sure that Mladic is even in Serbia at all?

It's pretty obvious that he is being hidden by very powerful people, reason being .... who knows. The facts remain; Mladic is somewhere out there, and for whatever reason, he is not being handed over.

I was thinking the same thing PRN, the fact they are all innocent just demonstrates your interpretation of entertainment. If handing these men over will be the price of entering the EU, I am not surprised at all on why they haven't found any of them yet.

The Serbian people do not want the EU, so why is the West giving them such a sweet deal in saying "hand them over, and you will be in". The answer is quite obvious.

don't worry -- there'll be plenty left to condemn, like war profiteering, for ex.

i was telling a co-worker about some of my "nice" critics on the site. "it sounds like they want to divert attention fr the topic at hand." duh. mass graves, more mass graves. mass murderers. an inability to confront the past. the pretense of "coming to terms with our past" when there is no such thing happening.

how to respond to such awful things? attack the messenger. it's an old tactic and some folks here are absolute expert at it.

as i always tell others, eyes on the prize. we're only human and imperfect, but the message is what is essential. as for the mass graves, we must make sure that it is all supervised by intl experts and done properly and with all (safe) speed. no doling out the bodies for political capitol, and to ensure maximum re-torture of the families. we must never allow that to happen again. cheers!

“Serbia will do everything to arrest indictees” Serbian President Boris Tadić is serious just look at his face with a big grinning smile and a twinkle in his eyes. The new indictment will probably be very similar to the one against former political leader of Bosnia's Serbs Radovan Karadžić, which leaves open the possibility to merge these two trials if Mladić is arrested in the foreseeable future. That would be fun to see those two love birds together at each others throats.

You are correct, Enemy, the entire Serbian nation, including teens and children that were not even born during the Bosnian wars, should march to the Hague and turn itself in. Maybe then, the US/EU will be content, find all Serbs guilty, because they were proclaimed the bad guy by DC, and put the entire Serbian nation in jail - maybe a huge one built in Kosovo - oh wait, there already are Serbian prisoners in Kosovo (ordinary Serb citizens living near Albanians) - man, the Balkans are rough.

Since according to NATO, we all are war criminals for defending ourselves from their onslaught and for just being serbs, why not stop this sharade and hand over the whole nation over a nice little ritual in Berlin?

Why not turn ourselves in en masse?
