SAA ratification without Mladić arrest"

This is another ordinary dream.

Serbia could-have its police in Kosovo too BUT ONLY in peoples' dreams.

Sometimes dreaming is a remedy for depression.

Who is depressed more? The Albos in Kosovo with nothing and unable to move out or Serbs moving freely? Hmmm?

The best dreams I have heard so far is the Albos claim to an independent Kosovo – when is industry opening up with jobs? PRN without Belgrade’s agreement you just keep on dreaming and smoking that funny stuff because that’s the only way to keep you happy.

It looks like that the west (Germany-Holland-Austria) is getting a little afraid that Serbia will get anti-EU before the comming elections, and what better whay than to threw a few carrots?

PRN, what are you dreaming about???
Serbia alread have its police in the northern part and the enclaves with the proper uniforms, yes I agree that its quite sad that they might have to wear some strange non-MUP uniforms south of IBAR, but its still the same police serving the people living there :-)

I have a suggestion: why not allow Serbia to become an EU member by the end of the year? Since it's obvious that Serbia will not meet any of the major criteria for membership and that the EU is desperate to make Serbia a member at any cost why not simply make Serbia a member by the end of this year and make both sides happy? Serbia could keep their war criminals and Kosovo while the EU would be proud to add Serbia to its list of illustrious member states. Both sides would be happy with having their wishes fulfilled by Christmas 2010.

If the EU is so desperate that it would officially condone the hiding of war criminals responsible for genocide it might as well disband since the world doesn't need such corrupt and inept institution in the first place. The simple fact is that neither Serbia nor Kosovo are going to ever come to an agreement and the EU carrot will not chance their minds. Serbia's obsession with Kosovo is much older and deeper then the silly EU and there is nothing the EU or NATO can do to change that so handing out free-bees like visa-free travel amongst others will not change Serbia's policy towards Kosovo. Given the current mess the EU is in it is doubtful countries will want to join it in the future if they can reap the economic benefits without having to be a member (like Switzerland and Norway).

If Serbia was doing everything it could to arrest Mladic he would have been arrested a decade ago so this is clearly another attempt to appease Serbian politicians so that the "bad guys" don't get elected. This is pointless however since once Serbia gets all it wants from the EU it will turn to Kosovo and the "bad guys" will be elected anyway. Fascist xenophobic governments are coming to power all over the EU and there is nothing it can do to stop it Serbia will join the list soon enough.

Yes why not? Unlike with the previous Kostunica government, there's cannot be much doubt about that Serbia is now willing to arrest the suspected war criminals.
