A passenger plane has crashed in Libya, killing more than 100 people on board, officials in the capital Tripoli say.

I saw the picture of the young Dutch boy in ICU. I have said a prayer for his recovery, for his life has been spared.

I express my deepest condolenses to all the victims of this tragedy and to all those who have lost their lives in airline accidents across the world. It is my greatest fear to pass in such a manner, helpless and beyond any form of control.
