Serbia “not giving up UNSCR 1244”

1244 is kryptonite to Pristina and Washington. Everything they have done have been in vain.
Justice will prevail.

Serbia should be careful in dealing with the Americans whether they are republicans or democrats. They all have the same color and objective to see Serbia "break" into pieces.
Nothing to fear as long as Russia and China on Serbia's side.

We can thank Russia and Milosevic for UNSCR1244. NATO could not defeat us militarily so they have resorted to lies and deceit, arm twisting and bribes. Not even the sell-out can go against our constitution thanks to Kostunica.

Maintaining the status-quo costs Serbia and Russia nothing whereas the EU/US must waste billions of much needed funds on the black hole that "Kosova" is. The feast in the West is over. The feast in the East is just beginning.

Rationale - no, i don't think it has anything to do with keeping the albanian population in check and i think everyone is taking res 1244 out of context in the sense that NATO was bombing Serbia into tiny pieces, Serbia had to surrender but used to res 1244 to retain sovereignty over land which was to be run by the UN.

if all the balkans genuinely want to be part of the EU, then why try to keep a certain population in check? as a member of the EU, any national can go and freely live in any other EU country!

serbs & albanians (& the rst of the balkans peoples) are their own worst enemies - everyone without exception has allowed nationalism to dominate their lives when the more important issue is how to get the economy moving. economically, the entire balkans is a basket case with relatively low standards of living - whose fault is that? the people's who live there.

To all those that respect so much and have so much love for R1244, I would like a simple question:
1. When Kosova/o was being governed by UNIM, why UNMIK documents were not recognized by Serbia?
2. Why illegal elections were held in Sebs villages, that UNIK called them illgeal?
3. Why so much love for UNMIK now, which is no longer governing Kosova/o?

Please, can I get a honest to god answer and not some stupid coment...

Do you actually believe the first paragraph, Russia and Milosevic intentionally forced the withdrawal of all Serbian control over Kosovo to embarass NATO???
I am convinced you and many others believe in your 2nd paragraph, after all isn't the real goal to try to keep the Albanian population in limbo and has nothing to do with land or "religious heritage" in other words a continuation of the Milosevic mission?

The "illegal" elections were proclaimed to refute the monkey runned Pristina governement. Any democratic nation would have done the same.

The EU is nothing good for Serbia to join, so it should not be swayed by America's pathetic blackmail offer to expedite our joining with shutting up about lawful UN resolutions guaranteeing our territorial integrity. Look at Switzerland. We can be like the Swiss, who cares about some fascists in Brussels anymore, their economies are a joke to the world.

America cannot keep all those bases as they are far too expensive and the funds are drying up fast.
EU is trying to bail out Greece and who know which other country. There is only so much money. Something's gotta give.

United States and the large EU countries do have some tricks down their sleeves when it comes to the U.N mission in Kosovo. They control the vast majority of founding for UN missions, & if they find Serbian obstructions not their liking they will will just cut off founding. They have done it the past.......

Nato is no economic alliace but a military as you already know.

All Nato countries pay membership fees. America and Nato countries have bases all over the world still continuing to expand(eastern europe)

Greece in going bankrupt economically, I doubt the Eu bailout will save them, nevertheles does not affect Nato/USA/UK/France/Ger.. military capabilities to keep bases,

I don't think the growing Chinese economy will spell the end of USA superpower status.
I think it will balance power and influence in the world between east and west.
