>>Representatives of the Mothers of Srebrenica association asked the prosecutor to prove the whole truth about Srebrenica and arrest the person indicted for the crime, Ratko Mladić.

They also asked him to launch an investigation against those who covered up and destroyed the main evidence material and documents on the genocide in Srebrenica. >>

i highly respect the Mothers of Srebrenica and other such groups -- but if this news account is accurate, then i must say i have way less patience than they. when brammertz took over from what's her name, i said: you have a few months to prove yourself. he started fairly well, and then got caught up in the balkan quicksand. mladic, who was most directly responsible for the GENocide at srebrenica (and a great deal more!) is now safer and further from a trial in the hague than ever. that is our "full cooperation" from the belgrade regime. anyway i can't bear to go thru it all for the 100th time. point is: brammertz must go. yes, go, leave, quit, vemenos... he is unable, unwilling or both to confront the blgd regime, and thus, exactly like the intl community during the course of said bosnian war, ends up facilitating that which he has claimed to end. his mellow, unperturbed presence is really a great way for serbia to continue doing nothing, while barely pretending to plan, to "cooperate."

serge -- if you have the least bit of integrity, just be honest and resign. it would be the best move of your career, no joking.

Why is Brammertz using the word genocide? When for instance Dasht-i-Leili http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dasht-i-Leili_massacre is mentioned then it is called "massacre" but not genocide. It seems double standards are used depending on who the perpetrator is.
