Absolute disgrace. Eh Europe, Europe, you old whore (as Noir Desir put it). In reality, I don't expect USA or EU to do anything about it. They sit by and watch while water supply, ambulances, food, medical help and power is cut off to Gaza and West Bank and apparently think it acceptable. Occupation of Cyprus is apparently acceptable too. Ethnic cleansing in Sudan is also acceptable. REAL freedom and democracy right there. Screw up people around the world, then watch them massacre each other.

Well, if Abkhazia would do the same the Western press would spend a lot of time on it. How in the world can the Abkhazians do this?

Let's forget the joke claims about 'legality' or 'multi-ethnicity'. This is a mafai style action done under an umbrella of pseudo-legality being provided by the west.

It has been stated very positively by Pristina that this is a political action.

This is just the continuation of the mono-ethnic ambition to form an Albanian state in Kosovo. This current action is not going to encourage regional cooperation - it is just an extension of the kinds of provocations that lead to war in the first place. It is always worth remembering that the very term 'ethnic cleansing' is originally credited to the activities of Albanians in Kosovo. There was another side to everything that went on in Kosovo (Albanians driving out Serbs) that long predated Milosevic.

I trust that this will wake a few people up as to what is wrong here.

I do hope that someone in the western press does pick up on this and begin to change to reporting the other side of the story.

They could first make an announcement to EULEX that by a certain point this year, Serbian mobile service would no longer operate in Kosovo, giving the K Serbs time to either change the mobile plan, or at least negotiate a compromise between mobile providers.

(Mike, 24 April 2010 16:48)
Prior to Independence UNMIK had to approve all telephone providers and there were several illegal operators and a few times international forces would go and disable these towers, then after control was turned over to the Pristina authorities attempts were made several times to disable those not legally approved to operate in Kosovo all this took place before I left more than a year ago. I guess that just was not enough notice or maybe the blame should go to the rightful place, on the shoulders of those who had no plans to ever legitimize their business.

The Kosovo governnment destroys Serbian Kosovo mobile phone lines; no mention was made of simply becoming licensed or regulated with the "new Kosovo governmment". Can a Serbian owned; Serbian maintained mobile phone line have a chance to even exist in ethnically Albanian controlled Kosovo by being able to be granted a license; to become officially regulated? I think not.

Lovely, how understanding of the Kosovo govt, they didnt even have the wherewithal to give advance notice to their little Skanderbeg operation. Also, grave desecrations, Roma living in toxic environments, buses stoned, temporary housing attacked because Albanians dont want to give rightful Serb lands back to them and the list goes on and on. Ive seen a lot in my 41 years on this planet, but nothing quite like the mess that's been created in this southern province of Serbia.

Im disgusted at this abuse of power and Im disgusted with this narco-terrorist-state. The single biggest mistake my country has made since WWII was to align themselves with such KLA ilk.

Go ahead, ethnic Albanians (no such thing as a Kosovar), keep up your deplorable actions, keep showing the world what your REALLY about. What an absolute disgrace this pseudo-state has become.

I will never stop emailing and calling my nation's politicians until they realize what a horrible mistake was made in "recognizing" this black hole of Europe as anything other than what it really is, a province of Serbia run by Albanian thugs, war criminals and ethnic cleansers. Im ashamed, absolutely ashamed of my country's involvement in the destruction of Serbia's territorial integrity, all the while saying KosovO's must be respected, may the politicians of my govt who allowed this to happen choke on their hypocrisy.

KosovO will never, and I repeat never, become a full fledge state. The largest democracy in the world, India, hasn't even recognized it and thank God for the Security Council members that will veto any chance of this supposed state becoming a member.

Go back to the negotiating table. KosovO's people will live better being a part of Serbia than staying in limbo until the end of time. KosovO, as it is now, will never become part of the UN, EU, WTO, IMF or any other organization. When anyone with half a brain looks at this situation there is only one conclusion...This is the most pathetic "country" on the planet due in large part to the nastiness of the majority that's in power.

Im curious, can someone tell me how many UNESCO heritage sites in KosovO are Albanian, as compared to Serb sites? Anyone?

May God watch over the persecuted minorities in Serbia and bring divine retribution to those who perpetrate such villainous activities.

Phone lines in Kosovo are property of Serbian Telecom. Every singl part of equipment is property of Serbian Telecom. Even the code used in Kosovo is +381 just like in rest of Serbia cause illegal state of Kosovo cannot get different code. That's the fact! If the Dardanian Borats were smart about this, they could actually get away with phasing out Serbian telephone service over time and come off looking professional by it.

They could first make an announcement to EULEX that by a certain point this year, Serbian mobile service would no longer operate in Kosovo, giving the K Serbs time to either change the mobile plan, or at least negotiate a compromise between mobile providers.

This would have allowed the Albanians to pass themselves off as rational "Europeans" instead of backward Balkanoids who just shut off the power without any warning. Now as a result, efforts to integrate their "most privileged minority" have taken another major setback. These people have absolutely no idea how to run a country, much less have the slightest idea how to run a business beyond craving money.

I am sure, Serbs in Kosovska Mitrovica can't wait to be "re-integrated" and get that "law and order".

Exactly Ataman, these are the "benefits" Pristina has to offer the Serbians in northern KiM. But since "integration" failed they are having a tantrum. Prison rules and mentality it seems.

This coupled with a few attacks in the past days is looking increasingly like a concerted message to Serbs in Kosovo - we don't want you here.

Anyone wants to say "re-integration of the North" loudly? Or maybe THAT was the substitute for the failed "reintegration of the North"?

Most definitely revenge for not able to gain power in Serb dominated north.

With one move Serbia can put back k-albs back in dark ages by cutting electricity.
But we won`t-Serbs in Kosovo will get satelite phones and k-albs will realize once again that nothing done with their force works..
Little glee for albanin trolls here is worth nothing..

I wonder if they'll find the adults that have attacked Serb returnees. I think not.

Have any Albanians been arrested yet for any racist crimes? I think not.

You are right - after last action, any K-Serbs from North will not want "integration" with nationalistic pseudostate. Connections between North Kosovo and rest of Serbia - will improved.

What a shame !! let these Serbs living in ghetto have some dignity and be able to call their relatives and try to maintain some normality within their lifes ...

What is the international community doing ? noting ... just supporting the process of having a pure Albanian Kosovo ...

What is the reaction from the various governments involved with looking after Kosovo?

What is the UNMIK reaction?

What are Belgrade going to do about it?

What are the local people going to do about it?

The Kosovo governnment destroys Serbian Kosovo mobile phone lines; no mention was made of simply becoming licensed or regulated with the "new Kosovo governmment". Can a Serbian owned; Serbian maintained mobile phone line have a chance to even exist in ethnically Albanian controlled Kosovo by being able to be granted a license; to become officially regulated? I think not.

11 years over due. Good job Kosovo Police, send a message that Kosovo will not tolerate un-licensed and illegal entities to usurper our state with their activities.
(RKS, 24 April 2010 23:30)

Sorry RKS - but on the territory of Republic of Serbia - KPS action is illegal. You still belive that You live in "independent state of Kosovo". But You are wrong my friend...

Well, if Abkhazia would do the same the Western press would spend a lot of time on it. How in the world can the Abkhazians do this?

Well, now our 'friends' the Albanians are doing it. The EU and the UN must act now!

To all in Kosovo: never accept UDI!

Bob

Hekuran

and once again Tadic remains silent on the issue. Serbia needs new elections now to put a Serb back in power to end all this albanian terrorism once and for all.
