don't understand some of the comments here. What do Albanians have to do with the NDH (or do you mean Bosnian Muslims?). And how come at the end the figure of deaths is 150,000 yet earlier on it's around 600,000 just at Jasenovac? I also read that the number of 500,000 Serbs killed cited from Yugoslav commission set up after the war was the demographic lose of the population of the entire Yugoslavia... I though the NDH only consisted of more or less present day Croatia and Bosnia? So many inconsistencies here.

Plus wasn't there also a significant amount of Croats who were killed at Jasenovac? Why no mention of them?

What's this
Croatians and Albanians don't celebrate this day, because THEY were the executioners in what the world remembers as a true Genocide.

Butchers of Jews, Serbs and Roma, we shall never forget our fallen men, women and children who were murdered in the hundreds of thousands by Nazi Germany and their Croatian and Albanian Allies.

RIP to the victims.

Let's hope one day the Croats have the guts to look these horrors in the face and come totally clean.

They should replace the "Homeland War holiday" for starters with this remembrance.

The way they continue to sweep this under the carpet is a disgrace to all of Europe.

Serbia has done its role, it has apologized for the "crimes" in Srebrenica. Lets hear Croatia say sorry for "crimes". And the Muslims too!

This would be the Croatian reply. Josipovic: "I am here on this great day, to apologize to the Serbian nation for their suffering and for the 'crimes' that the Croats have unleashed on Serbia" and then Jadranka Kosor would add in: "that was a joke, Croatians defended Croatia... they weren't the aggressors" and then Haris Silajdzic would have a press conference: "Today we are united on this day... to blame the Serbs". Followed by Milorad Dodik walking around Banja Luka saying: "Out with Valentin Inzko..." then ofcourse his temper would get the best of him and he would smack some innocent boy playing football on the street.

This is Yugoslavia, don't expect anything to change.
