Roberto, do you also belive that the men who killed all civilians on Varvarin bridge and on the civil passenger train in Surdulica should be brought to justice for what they did?

Who cares what the US Senate passes. The US is becoming quickly irrelevant and in its haste to return to “we are Serbia’s friends” they think this will ‘paste over’ the US organised attack on Serbia by passing this nonsense.

I doubt if a small child in Serbia would be fooled by this action let alone anyone else.

Perhaps they would like to include a reaffirmation of the territorial integrity of Serbia as mentioned in 1244. They can also reaffirm that 'substantial self-government' should not be interpreted as 'total self-government' and that the so-called udi in Kosovo is mono-ethinically motivated and should not sustain.

Serbia is up for the EU now, but the Kosovo issue does not go away.

Not surprising, Senator George Voinovich is of Serbian/Slovenian descent. It's about time the US does something positive in regards to Serbia.

Oh, what a give-away!

More slime soaked "congratulations" and "assurements" please! Mixed with the usual imperial threaths & promises it will only result in Serbia ousting their puppet regime and turning to her real friends!

@PRN's comment "Recall that USA intervention in 1999 brought peace and stability in the region"

I think most would agree that the US's illegal bombing of Belgrade and the civilian casualties that resulted was anything but a peace inducing action. Furthermore I would suggest that the US's reasons for the illegal bombing were anything but trying to induce peace. Dressing it up in a phrase such as "US intervention" does nothing, in my opinion, to hide the fact that it was nothing more than an illegal and murderous act. Maybe the Hague should take a balanced stance and indict those responsible for the bombing too? That aside, it is refreshing to hear the US saying something positive about Serbia and at last dealing in facts rather than dreamt up propoganda.

It appears that the American's are getting really worried that the Serbian people will turn to Russia and they want you under their control as soon as possible!! TheUSA talk the same old bull about democracy etc etc when they themselves have no intention of keeping to international law etc themselves. They've tried the stick and now it's the carrot, but the carrot is full of maggots- get rid and do what's best for Serbia not the corrupt EU/USA/NATO.

Good move. Something to be greeted by all.

When USA adopts a resolution or makes a decision on something on Serbia then that is for the best of the country and the region.

Recall that USA intervention in 1999 brought peace and stability in the region.

Tadic and Jeremic may use this resolution to win more votes in the forthcoming elections..:)
