Part of the Kosovo side calls the attack on Serb returnees as vandalism and asks Kosovo municipal authorities to help protect these Serbs. But, so far all there really is talk. Talk to palate the USA & NATO? Let there be more than just talk. Let there be physical measures put in place in regards to what the talk is about-physical protection and justice operation of the law for the Serb returnees.

"Or very likely kids threw some little stones to disperse black-birds which is very common, and concidently one fell at the location where Serb returnees live now." (PRN)

-- You're not helping your side with this drivel.

How is it an act of vandilism?? It's an act of TERRORISM! I just want to say this is what Serbs had to put up with all the time. Constant aggression and terror from albanians. And wait for it.. america sided with these. Absolute disgrace!

Everyone is putting pressure on Serbia to normalize relations with K-albanians. It looks to me that there needs to be pressure on Albanians and not the Serbs. Throwing stones and vandalizing graveyards belonging to Serbs is not going to create a better atmosphare between Serbs and Albanains. Then again, as long as some Albanians continue to blame the victims the problem can never be solved.

"very likely kids threw some little stones to disperse black-birds which is very common, and concidently one fell at the location where Serb returnees live now" - prn. Hahahaha, you are too much with this ridiculous statement. Anyway, I am sure that Thaci could give a damn about the safety of returning Serbs, but it's a good sign that he at least spoke out against it publicly. It's a small step in the right direction.

Instead of talking about vandalisam why not protect these people..
Yeah-we are talking about "young europians"-who as a kids started stoning neighbors and as adults for a lack of jobs continued doing what they know the best..
Where is international community to see this savagery..

Wow. Could it be that PRN was lately appointed as the new KPS spokesperson? ;-)

"Attack on Serb returnees, “act of vandalism”"

This is very likely to be a lie for IC attention. Or very likely kids threw some little stones to disperse black-birds which is very common, and concidently one fell at the location where Serb returnees live now.

If intentional done (to hurt our fellow citizens) I too would FULLY condemn, but it is very unlikely.

Act first think later!

The safety procedures should have already been in place. Makes you wonder just who wants returnees to come back and what is the sincerity of the whole policy. That is if there is a policy and strategy in place.

Serbia uses all means to obstruct Kosovo and that is the direct response. The more Belgrade pushes Kosovo, the more Serbs in Kosovo got pushed. That is the ugly truth.

"Ignorants! KP stated clearly there is no evidence of vandalism...(Pejoni, 22 April 2010 12:50)"

Great! Does it mean that the professionals at KPS found out in the meantime that it has been "playing kids", maybe? :)

Kosovo - no return?

In light of recent protests, the international community and the Kosovo authorities must do more to ensure the sustainable return of Serbs and other non-Albanian minorities to Kosovo.

Knowing full well that these "acts of vandalism" were bound to happen - as they almost always happen - wouldn't it have been smart for the Pristina government to take extra precautions in maintaining the security in the area? Is Thaci & Co really that stupid to think that a busload of Serb returnees are going to be welcome back with open arms?

Precautions first to stave off empty condemnatory statements later.

What? KPS still didn't find out that the perpetrators were "playing kids"? How come that they are soo slow with their investigations this time? ;-)

Pejoni

Meanwhile in Priština, the Kosovo Albanian government also condemned the incident.

“This is an intolerable cowardly act,” the government said in a release.

Ignorants! KP stated clearly there is no evidence of vandalism yet they release a statement just to please the incompetent and smuggling criminal EULEX and a ungrateful minority. Thaci, I hope people see what a snake you really are, a disgrace to our people and our country.
