The 3% figure is ridiculous propaganda. At least 20% of the current population of Mali i Zi - "Montenegro" - is Albanian and many more Albanians will return once these lands are taken back by Kosova.

WOW that is one powerful group seeing as 2004 census lists the Albanian population at a little over 3%.

The current government is a conglomeration of the flotsam and jetsom of political parties ranging from the “sell, sell everything” or commonly known as G17 plus to the socialists. In real terms the Tadic government did not win the election it is just a cobbled together group all rushing to the trough of EU money – how else would you see the socialist join G 17 plus in government.

Kostunica held Serbia together during the most difficult time and he only did that because even in the west he was and is respected for his intellect and they could do little to dislodge him.

@ Niall the Irish lad.

As i'm aware Montenegro held a referendum which people voted in favour of independence.
Now if all the Montenegrins had voted against and the M-Albanians had voted in favour i don't think Montenegro would had bein independent today.
See it weren't only the Albanians who voted in favour of independence, as a matter of fact one Albanian partie leader called on his supporters to boycot the referendum (check Wikipedia).
Not all the Montenegrins who are not happy with Serbia are masked Albanians.
Have a nice day.

Montenegrin,
Unless you are of the Albanian persuasion down their in Ulcinj or wherever, you are a Serb. Your greatest leader/national hero was a confirmed Serb who identified totally with the Serbian heritage of Zeta/Crna Gora and wished for the union of said principality with the Serbian state. Good try, but no success. If you Montenegrins hate Serbian politicians and leaders so much that you wanted independence, I can understand that because they really are an awful lot, generally. But, do not try to advance some thinking that Montenegrins are not Serbs. That is ridiculous.

Kostunica is a boring dummy. If one ever sees him speak one would feel like falling asleep. Sad, but it is so.

At any rate, he was best buddies with the current government. First in his betrayal of Serbia's people by joining DOS... heck, DOS was a western organized thing. He fell for that and was with that camp for years... and probably would be again if given the opportunity.

we the montenegrins and the other members of Yugoslavia wanted to seperate and live independent from Serbia.

Because the serbs are the way Kostunica is and the way Kostunica describes others, we the montenegrins and the other members of Yugoslavia wanted to seperate and live independent from Serbia.

Really sounds like Koštunica still didn't overcome the fact that he lost the last election. People may ask themselves what he did for Serbia during his two terms. What has been achieved then with his "constructive and responsible policies"? Compared to the current government? Have people been "more hopeful" and with "higher morale"? I have my doubts about that...

This is the man who rushed practically every second piece of legislation through the parliament in "emergency procedures" and was the driving force behind a constitution that allows party leaders almost absolute power over their members and MPs. He's just jealous. Unfortunately he's also right.
