You obviously forget that everyone in Serbia is the worlds best driver.
My kids are off to Nis in a minibus at the weekend. I shall worry all weekend

Oh John,

we are just world´s best waterpolo players at the moment, but not drivers.

Be sure that they don´t travel with Nis Ekspres busses or serbian trains. This is more dangerous.

It must be something very important when YOU let your kids visit proper Serbia.
Are they trying to get a brand new serbian passports in Nis
or what?
If you need some help with passports let me know, but they need to come to NBG.

Have a nice day.

I did see countless mini-vans in Serbia/KiM without seat belts for passengers.

The state should abolish all taxes for cars which would meet five-star NHTSA or ADAC crash tests.

At the same time all cars which do not have belts or have known safety issues should qualify for "junk trade-in" bonus.

There is no tax which could compensate the state for loss of lives.

Condolences to families and in particular to bganon.

Its something that journalists don't bother to report in Serbia.
It only takes one editor to state this to younger journalists.

A friend of my girlfriend was killed in an accident yesterday. The carnage on the roads continues in Serbia, despite the official claims.

Dragce - I agree. If the driver was speeding and they weren't wearing seatbelts, that is tantamount to manslaughter on both counts.

Poor guy and his family.

When ever there is a report of a brutal car accident in Serbia, there is NO mention if the victims where wearing seat belts or not. Judging from the carnage that is reported, my guess seat belts are rarely used.

This should be reported! People need to understand that seat belts save lives, not their "majstor" driving skills.
