Anti-Greek protests in Skopje

And when the Fryomians all together with the Albanians are going to realize that their
aspirations towards someone else’s land lead nowhere else but to confrontations and conflicts.
The thing is that the entire problem does not lie only on territories and borders, but it also include history rewritings by some crazy nationalists,quasi scientists and semi intellectuals.
While talking about nationalism I would like to point out that I have nothing about nationalism as long as it stays inside the "healthy" limits.
However, when nationalism turns into chauvinism then we all have to really think who is leading us and where?

I can only imagine how frustrating can be when the one has nothing own to offer to this world and thus must work really hard on creating lies by rewriting official history , including stories about some imaginary border lines. It just take a lot of time and energy to convince entire world in something that does not and never did exist.

The saddest thing is when somebody, instead of making efforts on something progressive that somehow could contribute to the mankind or at least to this part of the mankind proving themselves in that way, unfortunately chooses to go so much backward.

So, if these NGO’s member talk about Greek’s "Fascism", why then they do not talk about the "Fascism" in their own countries.

Ok so a group of soldiers chant things to prove a point to THEIR OWN government and everyone goes crazy over it? Why do you think the Greek government itself treated the soldiers so harshly? It has nothing to do with Albanians and Skops, it has happened before and no one has made a peep about it.

Now that we have regular citizens holding up maps of their own country with part of Greece included and that's NOT FASCISM?

Well todays Greeks landed from a spaceship 180 years ago which at the same time took away all the ancient ones and this is how they dissapeared.

Cheap propaganda coming from a fourth rate boxer who is the head of goverment and got the habit of laying wreaths in front of a huge map encompassing the Greek macedonia.This is hate.

As to our collapse don't concern yourself just look at your compatriots who feed themselves with donations coming from relatives abroad.

The Greek nation is one,of course is the oldest and probably the most glorious in Europe.It has survived the Ottomans,Italians,Germans
and we'll pull through again.
Our financial crisis compared with what our nation went through in the past is just a storm in a teacup.

Everyone missed the point in this incident. There is a difference between simple private citizens protesting, and the military chanting hate songs about their neighbors. Both should be condemned but.

When military sings hate songs is like government doing it. Military is part of the government and nothing happens by chance. Soldiers take orders and sing what they are told to. What this incident has shown is that the government is loosing a bit of control over its own army.

I am glad they condemned the incident and apologized for it. Don't forget Greece is part of Nato and EU, there is no place for such chants. Army has no emotions, it behaves upon orders.
On the other side, showing maps of of their country on a greater dimension does not help either.

Depends what country these idiots are in. We are talking about Greece and there is 2000+ years of democratic traditions behind that country.

I feel that Greece has sufficient checks and balances to make that incident no more than few monkeys jumping and yelling nonsense.

You should be much more worried about what will happen in Hungary today than what these idiots did.

For instance your Kosovo did not submit a single request about any Serbian or Greek politician to Interpol. The only politician Kosovo ever declared as "terrorist" and asked Interpol to act is... na, who?

The one who is leading the militant wing of "Jobbik", László Toroczkai - who was detained while entering Canada. Was Jeremic ever detained by Canadians? Or the Greek minister of defense?
