You can start by checking the pick-pocketers pocket. Thaci. Perhaps you'll find Bushs old watch aswell, I am sure he'd appreciate that to be returned. :)

This is one issue you cannot blame on Albanians. Any thieves would have to be of the Serbian ethniticity. It is without question that no Albanian was to benefit nor have control over funds from Serbia.

Sure no one is stopping them, they can continue to buy loyalty, since they know if not they would either go back to Serbia or leave for some other marry place.

What is salary in Serbia? Especially outside Belgrade, I was in Jagodina few months back and they said 100 to 150.

Its hard not just in Kosovo or Serbia but around Balkan.

Corruption sadly is becoming the norm in Kosovo just like in Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia or any country in the region.

This hurts only the people and its sad, so dont insinuate that its worst than it was under Serbia.

On the surface, I would say that those that were put in charge of doing the investigating are the ones that should be investigated first. If your sole job is Minister of Kosovo then you should have noticed whether between 300 and 500 million euros was reaching its destination.

¨Now projects are booming from universities, schools, hospitals, highways to skyscrapers and etc.¨

I am always impressed by K-Albanians enthusiasm and yes I think is good but also be realistic and fight corruption (highways were just an example) if you want these investments to be successfull ...

But again let Belgrade take care of its own citizens especially the Serbs in Kosovo and invest in their future. So the fact that Belgrade wants to improve the quality of its investment in Kosovo is a positive notice for the people and the especially the minorities here

Only two years? So you're not really from Mitrovica then. I know Kosovars salary isnt the best, but so arent those citizens of Serbia either, unless of course you work for Serbian Government in Kosovo then both the Serbian salary (twice of any Serb worker in Serbia) plus the salary from Prishtina, it comes down EU standard salary. Not bad considering they dont even have to pay any taxes or electricity.

Sorry, but "highway"? What does anything has to do with salaries? Its expensive since a new highway has to be constucted from the very begining and property needs to be bought unlike most european countries who already had existing roads. I blame lack of investments in late 80's and 90's and a freeze period from 2000 until 2008. Now projects are booming from universities, schools, hospitals, highways to skyscrapers and etc. This is something Kosovo never saw under its occupation by Belgrade since 1989. But hey the state is still young, give us some more time, will you?

Kind regards!

"He noted that Serbia allocates between EUR 300mn and 500mn a year for Kosovo,..."

At first you trash several hundreds of millions into that money sink and then you beg in Moscow for a loan. Indeed, the Russians are clever enough to milk Serbs in that situation. The winners are definitely the (leading) Serbians in Kosovo's north and Russian oligarchs.

I lived in your ¨country¨ if you want to call it as such for almost two years and civil and public servants are paid around 200 Euros/month.

Kosovo is the poorest region in Europe with very few economic perspectives due mainly to corruption (just see how much it costs to build an highway in Kosovo; more than in Switzerland!!!! and when you compare the price of the land you just laugh or cry ...)

Anyway stop always pretending than everything is great and nice because I do not know a single K-Albanian who does not want to leave if he could with his family (except the corrupted elites) and do not know a single Kosovar from the disapora who wants to come back unless forced ...

So the bottom line is admit the problems and issues and build upon that and I wish you good luck but for the time being believe me Belgrade is more than right to help its citizens because your Kosovo government even if it would it could not do it due to lack of ressources and capabilities ... in Mitrovica you clearly observe that situation

all the best

How are you going to punish them, for what we know they are protected under Kosovo's law and as long as they dont break any laws in Kosovo, not much you or anyone for that matter can really do.

Secondly, these had salaries from Kosovo's Government, its your Government who wanted to buy them with double salaries. Good for K-Serbs, too bad for Serbian taxpayers.

He noted that Serbia allocates betweeen EUR 300mn and 500mn a year for Kosov. Boris Tadić forgot to mention how much to the Srpska entity to propit up EUR 3-5 billion. They will both take Serbia with them down to the poor house.
