Mr Thaqi ; for the sake of your people can you think before you say anything, that is going to help our country Kosovo, and our neighbours,What do you really want from Kosovo,do not push a lot.Ban supports us Kosovo*
For the god sake why should I think he doesn't, but the manufacturing things is not going to help at all.
Mr Thaqi forgot he has to deal with smart citizens,he forgot we follow politics,we are not stupid.
I am just waiting what is going to be next.
Thank you folks
God bless Kosovo.

Meanwhile, Belgrade has reportedly prepared its campaign to bring back the debate on Kosovo‟s status at the UN."

Aha... and I begun to think about the much-criticized cooperation between Serbia and NATO as well as surfacing talks about NATO membership. As ugly as the mere idea of Serbia in NATO does sound - it is potentially deadly for the KosovA-experiment.

Because at the time it is actual... barely any NATO troops will remain in KFOR. And since 1244 does explicitly allow Serbian troops in KosMet at one point we may see KFOR turning to be VS to a good degree.

That is probably what Serbian government has in sight. As for America & Co: for them Serbia is just an other country they hope to put the checkmark like "NATO" on. What it would mean in the reality is an other question. We should not forget Montenegro's NATO membership - what a joke. Who envisions Montenegrin tanks rolling in Moscow is mentally ill. Same applies to Bulgarian tanks.

I am absolutely against NATO per se, but at the same time if Serbia would be in NATO that would be the end of it as we know. So maybe as a fifth column not a bad idea.

Even if Ban supported Kosovo, does it really matter? Power lies with the security council and not the secretary general. Since Putin does not support Kosovo, it's game over.

I didn't read in any paragraph of Ban's statement suggesting the he is against the plan of integration of northern Kosovo/a. Room for interpretation. Of course that is politics...

The Kosovo Albanian newspapers are more trashy tabloid than news. When they print Valentine Day love tips as a front page article, it reminds me of the Star Magazine tabloids you see at the PX. I wouldn't put stock into what they say.

And Thaci says what he can to keep his job. With illiteracy and ignorance so high in Kosovo, the Albanians listen to what he says to figure out what is going on at the UN. He could have said that the UN agrees with Kosovo's UDI and every villager in Kosovo would have pulled out his shot gun and road his tractor down the street shooting into the air until Pacolli or Hardinaj reinterpreted what was actually said.

Hash is so desperate for attention he'll interpret anything ambiguous as affirmation of his idiotic policies. On one level I really think Albanians in Kosovo can do better than support this clown. On another level, he's the perfect guy for anti-independence people to support.

Yes, you are totally right. The K Albanians are making more and more fool out of themself every, every week and some western diplomats in the international community are laughing quite openly lately to this circus called "Kosovo government".
Well, below I paste a notice from Koha ditore today. Even the press see that this does not go Kosovos way. As I have said in the past many times, what goes around - comes around. Wait for ICJ verdict and then this circus is over for good.

"Koha Ditore reports on the front page that the leading countries of the European Union and as well as some other important countries have engaged in the last couple of months to warn Belgrade not to challenge their position towards Kosovo‟s independence at a time when the International Court of Justice will announce its ruling on the legitimacy of the declaration of independence.
Citing diplomatic sources, the paper adds that some of these countries have even told Serbia not to make “adventures” in the United Nations by trying to initiate a procedure on Kosovo‟s status at the General Assembly of the United Nations. Some states that have recognized Kosovo‟s independence, said such a move by Serbia would not be seen as an action only against Kosovo but against them too.
The paper further reports that diplomats of some important Western countries are concerned over Kosovo‟s passivity in the diplomatic scene and with the absence of a strategy on how to act after the ICJ announces its ruling. Meanwhile, Belgrade has reportedly prepared its campaign to bring back the debate on Kosovo‟s status at the UN."

This is really a case of 'bending information till it fits your case'!

Ban is the leader of the UN. UN says Kosovo is still a Serbian province ruled by UN!

Any more info needed?

Kosovo: what a waste of time, money and engery!

Western money by the way!

It's amazing how albanians interpret everything to their advangade. If Ban did recognize Kosovo where is your UN seat? An he calls himself a leader.
(Mikael C, 8 April 2010 16:27)

That´s politics MikaelC. I´v never seen a politician interpreting the bottle as half empty. Nothing wrong on that statement. The problem is UN with its no meat nor fish policy. And this will remain forever as long as our Balkan intelligence is used to play comandos war like childrens. An African proverb says: The mistakes are like mountains. "You sit on the top of yours and shows the mountain of the others"
