The truth is the origins of the present inhabitants of Fyrom have a Bulgaroserbian base.This is a fact and not a fiction.

A name and identity based on the geographic perspective will be acceptable to other people occupying the geographic region.They can call themselves Northen-Macedonians and share the name with Albanian,Bulgarian or Greek Macedonians.

It could be similar to modern
Anglo-saxons which call themselves british to describe all the inhabitants living on those islands and not to connect themselves with the culture and identity
of the British Celts which were forced out of the country.

In the next 2-3 years Greece will still be in both EU and NATO, it's citizens will still be living in a good standard of living like today and the pseudo-macedonian state of FYROM will still be outside both NATO and the EU, with it's citizens trying to get visa to go and work in Greece.

Greece has realised it can't fool the world with it's propoganda and has come to realisation that admitting Geographical Macedonia does exist, it's only way out is to meddle in and bully it's northern Neighbours to change their name and identity to appease it's most of its peoples ego.
Let's see Greece's reaction if Macedonia meddles in and exposes their injustice within their borders and start pressuring them to change names of the regions and rightfully exposing the real nationalities of their minorities........

Why not just call them by the rightful terminoloty the Slavs refer them to, Makedonski. The "ski" is in line with many Makedonski changing the "vic" to "ski"

This way, they cannot infringe on Greek Hellenic history, and keep the Slav history of Bulgaria and Serbia.

I think this is a fair gesture from Greece. Macedonia/FYROM/Vardar/Northern Macedonia/confused Bulgaria/Whatever should accept it.

During the Roman Empire the Republic of Macedonia and Greek Macedonia were split into Macedonia Salutaris and Macedonia Prima. So changing the name to northern would sort of be the same thing they did.

No such thing as an ethnic Macedonian. There is however geographic Macedonian and the geography happens to be shared by Greece, Bulgaria and FYROM. Therefore, geographically speaking, they can consider themselves Northern Macedonian, geographically. The Macedonian culture, identity and history belongs to the Greeks.

Accept Northern Macedonia before you have to wait another 20 years to get a serious proposal. By then Mr. Gruevski, you would have either made history as the one who led your country to the EU, NATO, etc. or as the fool who once led a country that fell because it did not belong to any internatinoal organization, all because of a name you wanted to steal. Non acceptance will lead to difficult years and instability for FYROM.
