Jason is right but unfortunately you're not. If you go to sites in albanian you will see a lot of articles critisizing government for various things. Also you are especially wrong when you said that no comment against government of Kosovo will be published. I have seen many of your comments published in albanian site called NewKosovaReport and those comments were against the independence of Kosovo.
Happy Easter and best wishes for you and your family.

Really, when was the last one? How many were there? Compare it to our regular Serb bashers here and see the difference in strength and frequency.
I tried to explore how Albanian media works and they are very selective which comments they publish. I can tell you that many were not published and it had nothing to do with being racist, rude, sarcastic or the like. It was the comments I tried to put through in response to many attacks on me for stating my opinion. Sure, my opinion might get through but many of my responses to the attacks did not, hence I achieved my goal of testing your "democratic media" and have not been there for a long time. One person states an opinion and all Albanians come out in force to attack. You know I am right.
You can safely say that any opponent of independence quickly gets either chased off the site by your brothers who are NOT being censored or they just grow tired of being able to get their responses through.
BTW, judging how B92 is at time more of an Albanian site due to more Albanians getting put through than Serbs, we have a completely different approach to media equality here.
As you can see, I tested your "democratic" media and have not even bothered to look at it for a long time now and certainly have no interest in having a look at it again.

EA wrote "Mihajlovic should be deported to Serbia if he doesn't obbey to Kosovo/a law. One step at a time."

EA, you are advocating ethnic cleansing. A Kosovo Serb who doesn't recognize its independence has just as much right to live there as any Kosovo Albanian. If you do'n't accept that you have adopted the same logic as that of some Serbian extremists who believe that all Albanians who don't accept Serbian rule should be expelled to Albania.

Of course he is going to say something of that nature, his virtual job will soon be gone. Also, Mihajlovic is a citizen of Sterpca, he should have voted in the november elections in order to be able to complain. Otherwise sit still and learn to see KPS provide peace and security to your town.

Their own media will be more to their taste because it tells them exactly what they want to hear and the comments there are so censored that only the Albanian point of view will remain. If anyone dares to contradict that, some of our regular Albanian readers like Roberto quickly go into attack mode, the kind which would not be allowed here and block them. That is if you are lucky enough to have your comment published.

Should you be able to read this comment, I ask the question-Do you really believe that the comments in opposition to your views are not heavily censored?

As for your concern for B-92, I would not worry if I were you. They are still more widely read than any Albanian news organization as is evidenced by the host of us foreigners on here, including Albanians. If you do not like what you see here, you are always free to go to some other site, no?

Well said Jason. The Albanians here keep complaining but keep reading.

"The nonsense of "parallel institutions" should be stop once and for all." (EA)

-- The "nonsense" of parallel institutions is how the Albanian secessionist movement started out, remember?

And you don't live in Strpce, so why should you care who the Serbs vote for and support?

seems like Obama is under pressure from the forces of the past... =)

or they are just lacking troops in AfPak...

the more american G.I.´s are leaving Serbia, the better.

if something happens, Serbia is there to take care of it.

professionally and democratically, of course.

nevertheless, Serbia will prevail.

B92,care to explain why you didn't interview the actual mayor Bratislav Nikolić who was elected by more than 50% of the electorate? Is B92 operating under the slogan
" We decide, you read"?. This is what it looks like when you only report only the side of the story that suits the Serbian government. Believe me,most people who read this story know what the situation in Sterpce is. You only harming your own reputation.
(BalkanUpdate, 3 April 2010, 16:19)

50% of the electorate? That is an intellectually dishonest statement. Most Serbs boycotted the Albanian elections, so you should re-examine your statistics.

"There are 16 villages in the municipality of Štrpce in which about 12,000 Serbs and 3,500 Albanians live."

-- With Serbs outnumbering Albanians 4 to 1, I daresay the Albanians are going to be brazen enough to do something foolish. And if the Serbs need security, might I suggest they form their own security apparatus then?

"B92,care to explain why you didn't interview the actual mayor Bratislav Nikolić who was elected by more than 50% of the electorate?" (BalkanUpdate)

-- Um, that's somewhat misleading. Nikolic won 50% of the votes that were CAST, next to his closest rival Becir Fejzulahu.

http://www.blic.rs/Vesti/Politika/125357/Bratislav-Nikolic-izabran-za-predsednika-opstine-Strpce

The actual number of people that VOTED in Strpce was, according to B92, 30.91%.

http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2009&mm=11&dd=16&nav_id=63068

Therefore, Mr. Nikolic represents 15% - less than one-sixth - of the popular will. Not 50% of the people, and certainly not enough to warrant an interview if you ask me.

"Believe me,most people who read this story know what the situation in Sterpce is."

BalkanUpdate, maybe the mayor was instructed by Pristina not to comment? Or maybe he just had noting to say. It would not be the first time that the illegal K Albanian authorities threaten someone.
