Why don't you offer your advice to your own president? Neither he nor his predecessors seemed to have learned anything from your country's Vietnam debacle. Your country is on course to another suicidal endgame in Afghanistan.

"You may call that borrowing boy, but down here in the big sky country we calls it horse trading.

And why you be spreading rumors all over the internet that our horses be high and that we need to borrow money from the Chinese so we can stay living high?

You don't read me writing about your crooked and rotten and yellow teeth, or how we cleaned your clock in a half a cigarettes time over on King Mountain, do you? All righty then.
(Whiskey River, Texas, 2 April 2010 18:30) "

Yes, I do call it borrowing. Horse trading indeed! You can't even afford them horses on your own steam without resorting to credit!

No matter how you try to gloss over things, the fact is that you guys really can't afford the high life on your own resources. It is having to borrow more and more to maintain that high life, pure and simple. And obviously you guys had trouble paying back what you owe as your debts showed no sign whatsoever of coming down ever.

Nice stuff up, isn’t it?
Your argument falls a little lame so next time, do your research before committing to the keyboards.

Wrong! Israel is no more democratic than South Africa was during the apartheid days.
“Many of the neighboring countries are however rogue states”.
Which are these states?
Iraq – US installed Saddam Hussein then got rid of him and now they have this dreadful mess they cannot get out of so easily.
Afghanistan – the US gave money to Pakistan to create the Taliban to bring order to that country so that US interests can be served. Now like Iraq lots of dead US soldiers and many more to come as the spring offensives start.
Iran – US installed the Clerics currently in power. Yes, that right – this is not a mistake.

Joe, are you you honestly that blind to reality? Even the US has criticized Israel for building homes in East Jerusalem recently. What do you say about that? If the US drops Israel as a MNNA, will you still support them?

I'm afraid I am probably wasting my time talking to you about this since CNN and the New York Times has no doubt shaped your entire worldview by now, but find some time to read about how the Palestinians have been treated by the Israelis for the past 60 years. While you are at it, read a little about Israel's air campaign into Lebanon and then tell me with a straight face (you know what I mean) that Israel's behaviour in the Middle East in the past 60 years can be compared to what Iran has been accused of by the Western Media.

Obviously I am no fan of any Islamic state governed by Sharia Law, but I fail to see why Iran has been chastitised so much by America in recent years. THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG! The US have admitted Iran has no "weapons of mass destruction" some years ago, yet they continue pushing for sanctions, trying to twist Russia and China's arms, when those countries simply have no reason to do so.

What I find hilarious is how people tremble at the thought of the prospect of Iran potentially creating nuclear weapons in the future, Israel has nuclear capacity!!!

Unfortunately statements like yours prove how much monopoly the US media has and that no matter what lies they blirt out, people will gobble it up like candy.

What a sad world we live in.

BTW USA and Israel are without a shadow of doubt the worst rogue states in the world right now.

Wrong. Israel is a democratic state, a reliable ally of the USA. Many of the neighboring countries are however rogue states. The have to be kept in check.

Democratic israelis responsible for one of the greatest ethnic cleansings of the last century and who on daily basis humilate palestinans preching about multicultural sociaties worldwide while building new berlin walls based on racial ideas.Once the graet people of Iran(who have really big heart and whose hospitality matches that of the greek ) are in possesion of those weapons
"democrats" in Israel may start behaving like real democrats and not ruin the life of remaining palestinians as well as harres christians visiting holy sights from the very moment those leave the airplane at Ben Gourion.Perhaps as soon as Iran has Nuke the children of israel will be brought up in a more human way and not dare to send messages to bombed arab kids in Lebanon like they did in 2006.(otherwise Israel got a good lesson from Hezbollah that year.)

By rogue state i don't envisage a state that has a process in place of electing a goverment but a state which lives outside the boundaries of legality.A state that totally disregards the will and resolutions of the UN and constantly threatens and bullies its neighbours.

The neighbouring countries you are talking about are all staunch allies of your owncountry.SaudiArabia,Jordan
Egypt to name few.

The idea of sanctions against Iran is a highly hypocritical stance by the US and its western cronies considering they themselves are armed to their teeth with massive stockpiles of nuclear weapons and who are happy to turn a blind eye to the nuclear arsenals of rogue states such as Israel.

Iran has suffered sanctions of all kinds in the last 30 years and haven't succumbed. Why should they now? Furthermore, they produce something which is in short supply and everybody wants.Thats oil. This is one reason why sanctions will fail.

Iran has every right as a sovereign nation to have such weapons if it chooses to have them for its own security. If international law is to be taken seriously, then it must be applied consistently and without bias to all nations.

svojgazda

pre 14 godina

Well, if the sanctions don't work, the US, and its cronies, can do a "Humanitarian Intervention", without Security Council approval of course, because who needs that when it's in the best interest of DC. Russia and China are playing the US like an old fiddle.

US windbags! These so called sanctions are not worth the effort of raising them in the UN Security Council. The US has become the world's laughing stock the Emperor with no cloths.

"U.S. officials say five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany have agreed to begin drawing up new sanctions on Iran.

The sanctions would come over its nuclear program.

The agreement came after China dropped its opposition, VOA reported."

What VOA failed to report was what the US actually had to concede behind the scenes to get China to agree. Methinks it will be a very watered down version of the sanctions that the US want. And which Beijing can quietly circumvent if it chooses to later. I don't think Tehran is particularly concerned given its trump card -- the high quality, low sulfur content oil that China desires.

Nice stuff up, isn’t it?
Your argument falls a little lame so next time, do your research before committing to the keyboards.

"And there was another one that went something like this:Never give a sucker bent on suicide an even break.

Why don't you offer your advice to your own president? Neither he nor his predecessors seemed to have learned anything from your country's Vietnam debacle. Your country is on course to another suicidal endgame in Afghanistan.
