Berkely,

You dream too much. Since the end of all the Balkan ways and 9/11 the west has been passive, politcally incorrect and blind. It is finally seeing your likes and the dreams and aspirations as a threat to the whole continent. Within another ten years, the three illusions will turn against you and the wishes of like minded ilk. The green arrow will finally return to its nest, many miles away. Your 2040 hypothesis will never transpire and in the end you will be reduced to ruins, far deeper than you can imagine. The tide is turning daily.

If the majority in Serbia as a whole and the majority of Kosovo province agrees with independence for the Serbian province of Kosovo this if fine with everyone.
(Ron, 31 March 2010 23:01)

Why waiting until 2040 when Albanians would be the majority in Serbia?

Huh? What just happend to International law, you paused it while typing "if majority wants to split Bosnia... its OK" What about Kosovo, no such peaceful "split" solution?
(Pejoni, 31 March 2010 16:57)

My friend.. things are clear:

If the majority in Serbia as a whole and the majority of Kosovo province agrees with independence for the Serbian province of Kosovo this if fine with everyone.

Yes, just like Slovakia!

I will never get tired to say CONNECT THE BRAIN BEFORE TALKING!!!
In the case of Bosnia and Erzegovina, the two ethnic entity evidently want to split the country and if there is a democratic way to solve the problem why not to consider the division of the country in two other national entities???
But for kosovo the problem is very different. There is an ethnic entity which decided for every member of the Serbian population in a way that can be described with mani adjectives but not democratic at all.
So if we consider that kosovo is a Serbian region (and we have to do it considering that there's only one sovreign country and it is not kosovo) let's ask to the Serbian population (kosovar and non kosovar also resident in other regions than kosovo) if they want to split their country. This way is called REFERENDUM but I think that the UCK terrorists never heard about it when they attacked Serbian civilians.
If the Serbian population decide for the splitting of the Serbian territory no one could oppose to that... But I think that no one Serb will accept to see is country ruined by the k-albs.

EU may be status neutral but EULEX is not. EULEX is composed all EU countries that HAVE recognized Kosovo....hell, why do you think Feith is allowed to keep 2 jobs at once? DURR!!

"He also said that he believes that the recent regional conference held in Slovenia was a success."

Some muppets in Serbia still believe that it is better not to participate in meeting/conferences because the deed of non-participation by Serbia will be detrimental to Kosovo.

-- That's not how it was apparently reported in the media of the participating countries. Wasn't Serbia supposed to be subject to "revenge" tactics or something like that?

"Let that be the responsibility of the peoples of Bosnia. If the majority wants to split Bosnia can be split. Peacefully. Indeed like the Czechs and the Slovaks.

Apart from that I think there needs to come a Croation entity!

Ergo: Serbia (and Bosnia) will not recognize Kosovo. Kosovo will not join EU as it is not recognized by all.
Kosovo will be governed by the UN and EU. And as a result of that it will be 'part of the EU'.

What a sad affair...

Speaking on the Bosnia-Herzegovina situation, Fuele said that the “separation of Czechoslovakia is certainly not a good example” adding that “the international community and the European Council have stressed the territorial integrity of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the need for unity”.
