"...Am really glad to see that the nomination of a decent Croatian president is leading to some positive initiatives, hopefully it will materialize in deeds and not only in words...

(The Swiss, 26 March 2010 09:56)..."

>>> To disperse some unnecessary clouds of illusions in zooo called "new Croatian constructive regional involvements"...it does not have anything with Kosor's or Josipović change to good faith toward its neighbours, but just and only with the open final demand by EU that Croatia has to improve regional contacts and provide the return of Serbian "Storm" refugees in order to finalize its EU bid.
That's how we got "Slovenia-Croatia" recent conference debacle and this session of shake hands and smiles for the cameras.
Unfortunately for Serbia's refugees it will not change bit of nothing and our businesses will never operate equally on their market.
That's what we all know, I hope, for sure.

Kosovo is NOT very keen to participate in micro-meetings, by some insignificant players, but only when there is large/wide meeting/conference where seriousity and ethics are in proper level. Brdo is an example in point.

You want to bypass the problems at the resent meeting in Slovenia where Kosovo status was a problem? Don't invite the albanians. Seems like the countries meeting this time did just that.

Am really glad to see that the nomination of a decent Croatian president is leading to some positive initiatives, hopefully it will materialize in deeds and not only in words.

All parties do have a heavy past, one way or the other, but like bganon suggested many times is about time to move forward. It doesn't mean that the past should be burried, but rather addressed and at the same time strong fondations should be built for the future!
There should be no place for nationalists of any ethnicities and the rule of law should be equally applied everywhere even if it has to reach and bring down some current criminal politicians!
