Comment: That Mitrovica north will be back under Kosova authorities....
(Qiqavica's Albanian, 27 March 2010 14:25)

Sorry for you to say: But the North wasn´t under control of this Pristina in the last 10 years.
I suggest Pristina is starting to think about a realistic Kosovo without the North. This is the only possibility to find a solution.

But I´m sure noone of the stakeholders in the region is interesstest in a solution, because they are afraid from a peaceful futere.

Mitrovica

I am wondering whether K-Albanians ever come to Mitrovica north, Zvecan, Zubin Potok or Leposavic ... no? because You cannot as simple as that.

I live here one year working for an international organization and I can tell you that Serbs will never agree to live under Pristina government at least as long as Mr. Thaci and former UCK terrorists and current drug lords run Kosovo (under EU and USA umbrella of course).

The only solution I may foresee would be a change in generation and new people could bring peace.

For the time being whever I cross the bridge I feel I am in Serbia proper and I don't see anything remaining me I am still in Kosovo ... then of course 50 km later is the customs but again KPS are Serbs along with EU police.

Bascially things are stuck and will remain like that unless K - Albanians and Serbs come back to the negotiations table.

The rest are just ¨fake news¨as the reality on the ground is very different and very clear

After 2 years since the Serbian hooligans burnt them down, Kosovan Borders are secure once again.

Slowly but surely.
(RKS, 26 March 2010 23:26)

RKS - do You have similar words for Albanian hooligans who burned Sveti Archangeli in 2004?? Or for Albanians terrorists who attacked police stations in 90's??

That Mitrovica north will be back under Kosova authorities is 100% sure, but the matter is Leposavic and Zubin Potok.

Hey! Slowly but surely the forces of niceness and goodness will take over the forces of evil and the people can “get fresh breath of civilisation, democracy, human rights and respect for the Kosovo institutions”. Where do you get this stuff from? I hope Pristina pays for your commentary otherwise you’re an utterly deluded individual.
You seem to see a secret plan around every corner, but let me tell you that most governments don’t do plans but more ad hoc actions which their spin doctors rework as “strategic planning”.
An EU office in N Mitrovica accepts the reality on the ground that the various parts of Kosovo are not going to be integrated.

Kate,

you must dreaming to conclude that Pristina has no control over northern portion of Kosovo. Just a few days ago Thaci's government put customs on the borders with Serbia.

After 2 years since the Serbian hooligans burnt them down, Kosovan Borders are secure once again.

Slowly but surely.

Why in the world would anyone in their right mind want to be part of the "democracy of Prishtina"? K Albanians are paying upwards of $3000 to obtain serbian passports to flee Thaci's and Feith's democracy.

PRN: "The PLAN is to gradually put the last remaining part of Kosovo under full sovregnty of Kosovo. The EU/EULEX didn't NOT want Oluja II but chose this peaceful way, in FULL coordination with Thaci."

BTW, I am not Serbian, PRN, I am English. I use far too many pronouns to be from your part of the world (which is blissfully pronoun free).

Thaci and Feith did not choose the peaceful way; they were ready to storm in and force change in Northern Kosovo before the EU pulled them back by not supporting them.

You may be thinking that this move is all part of a 'cunning plan' but it's clearly been approved by Belgrade and not Thaci. Why would he be approving something for an area over which he has no influence at all?

Of course the message will be relayed differently, because nobody wants to upset Pristina.

It is very interesting to see how k-albs can be tolerant... It is sarcasm obviously!!!
Forcing someone to understate to someone else's (more over to someone else's of different ethnic origin who has been at the base of a war) is not what is called tolerance in civilized country.
"Dear" k-alb friends, if you are so "tolerant" what's the problem? Renounce to the North Mitrovica territory and leave that to Serbia! It is very easy as you (maybe) can see.
In this way you maybe could reach a reputation of tolerance for your government that as we all have to remember, declared criminally its independence from the only truly sovreign country that k-albs ever knew: Serbia.

You either seem ignorant with respect to developments in Kosovo or pretent to be so.

The PLAN is to gradually put the last remaining part of Kosovo under full sovregnty of Kosovo. The EU/EULEX didn't NOT want Oluja II but chose this peaceful way, in FULL coordination with Thaci.

Perhaps you read little on developments in region as, you 'may' not be a serb.

kate

pre 14 godina

PRN - how on earth do you figure that this move will generate "respect for the Kosovo institutions" by the people of Northern Kosovo?

It's an EU office and not a Pristina govt office. And EULEX, under the UN, is status neutral.

The EU has gone out of their way to distance itself from Feith's one-sided mad ideas - this is a whole different kettle of fish.

This is a golden oppportunity for the citizens in the North of our country to end anarchy and get fresh breath of civilisation, democracy, human rights and respect for the Kosovo institutions, that are doing utmost to bring things in the order in a peacful manner.

I wonder if this will be the last attempt by the hypocrites in the West to implement "Prisntinas authority" in the north, before realizing the facts on the ground. Can't see how Serbs would want to be part of a institution run by drugdealers, human trafficers and terrorists.
