He said ""Since January 1, 2001 untl today, the state took EUR 70bn based on privatizations, foreign loans…"

Which means he includes foreign loans, privatization, foreign aid (which only counts for 20 bln). Bank loans to our citizens and remittances are the only logical think that can make up that difference.

"...you can't honestly believe we earned 70 bln from privatization..."

>>> 70 bill. info is by economist Mlađen Kovačević telling to daily Večernje Novosti and later on published by B92 too just few days ago.

dean SRB, you can't honestly believe we earned 70 bln from privatization.

The break down of that 70 Bln from privatization. 5 Bln was received from privatization (excluding several big privatizations this was anywhere from 70%+ below market price).

We also received 10 bln in foreign loans and some 5 bln in foriegn aid. So we wasted 20 bln once you sum it all up. (The other 50 Bln comes from banks loans to our citizens and remittances)

Aside from that I agree with everything you say.

No worries for the Cabinet with Jelašić resignation.

Anyhow he left because of the way that Goverment deals with Serbia's economy or better say because of their mismanagement.
Eur 70 billions from privatisation wasted, Dinkić is pushing for rise in public spending and salary increase in order to win popular vote and stay in politics, Cvetković is selling Telekom as one of the last what can be sold in order to finance their useless Government and in 4 or 5 or 6 years we will be where the Greece is now.
That is what Jelašić knows and that is why he has left. They all ultimately will, when we reach "Greece syndrome".
As usual poor nation will stay behind to pay the bill of their incompetence and theft.
