The reality of the tragedy is that everyone knows what happened; from the locals in denial yet knowing full well where the disappeared vanished, from the investigators stunned at the ongoing questioning of their findings, from the media manipulators re-working data to minimize the enormity of the event. The spur that maintains the campaign of denial, is the existence of the RS, born from these orchestrated horrors and sustained by the belief that segregation is the answer to social development. History has shown what comes of such a belief.

Is the International Court of Justice (ICJ) is not independent enough for you? Serbia's reputation is in tatters having its leaders make inane requests would only undermine it further. The facts are the facts and it is in Serbia's own interest to accept them and to move on otherwise people like Milosevic will be voted back into power, more wars will follow, more Serbian refugees will leave Kosovo, BiH, and Croatia and the Serbian economy which today is on life-support will go over the cliff. Serbia can act in its own self-interest by accepting the truth and changing course on time or it can shoot itself in the foot yet again for the umpteenth time in its history.

If there is no independent investigation into the Srebrenica issue then no resolution. I want proof of this crime not the west’s say so. If an independent investigation provides unequivocal proof of a crime then so be it and I’ll be the first to accept it.

Both the ICTY and the ICJ have unequivocally stated that genocide was committed by the Bosnian Serb army in Srebrenica. That is a proven fact which is recognized by both the US and the EU. If Serbia is going to bother having a resolution regarding the genocide then they should use the appropriate term since using any other term would simply be inaccurate and a blatant attempt to change history. The Bosnian Serbs committed genocide with the help of the Milosevic regime and it is time that Serbia formally apologizes for its sins and the only apology that will mean anything and will have any chance of being accepted is one which is honest and contains the word genocide in it. Everything else is a silly PR campaign which will be disregarded by the Bosnian people and the international community.

With or without word "genocide" that quasi resolution is NO GO!

It is obvious that quasi national interests protectors like Nikolić and Dačić are trying to hide behind the word genocide and ultimately let this anathema resolution pass!
