"Serbia will be at the meeting because Spain has already officially stated that Kosovo can only participate as Kosovo-UNMIK at the meeting."

...Tibor has such a great idea about Balkan future... Serbia should listen this guy, and Europe as well...
...people like him chose to hate Serbs, just because they hear on TV that these are bad guys ...no need to use brain, and make conclusion or some research...

I expect these spiteful sillinesses to continue.

Boring really, but less painful than warfare.

I know that B92 has to report these things, but there is a risk that these little niggles become all that there is to think about. What Slovenia and Croatia think is not very signifiant. It is amusing to read about it though.

However, what Serbia finds it necessary to do to preserve its province and advance its future is important. There are real issues there, but don't ever expect much support from Slovenia or Croatia.

I would be far more interested to read about things like the return of Serbs to Krajina or the increasing tolerance for Albanians in Slovenia. The number of mosques in Ljubljana is a particularly interesting topic worth reporting more often.

Croatia and Slovenia have bright futures in the European Community. There is nothing more to do with Serbia. Let her become an eastern Vassal. Croatia especially has returned to western Europe where she belongs

Mircea - you became a Hungarian?

Sounds for me like Gheorghe Funar who would rather change his name to "Funár György" before death, just to ensure a "Bozgor" will die, not a Romanian.

Croatia? Angry? What for? For not holding hands and pretending that everyone in the Balkans loves everyone else in what was essentially a Slovene PR ego exercise?

Maybe they are upset that the Serbs actually had the balls to say 'up yours' to an (minor) EU member state, the same one that blackmailed humiliated Croatia over its own coastline?

Ridiculous.

Do they really think that Brussels is so dumb as to think that any of this makes the slightest bit of difference? That Brussels will be fooled by such smoke and mirrors?

Where as the oft quoted 'good neighborly relations' by brussels is allegedly a factor, a 'soft' (i.e. subjective) issue for accession to the EU, much more important is properly fulfilling the legal and technical requirements of the acquis communautaire, especially since both Romania and Bulgaria go in without completing it and then dragged their feet on essential parts.

If anyone thinks that such soft 'nice' issues take precedence and importance over technical cooperation between the ex-SFRY states, then they are very much deluded.

It is a BIG lie since no such official statemant was made as of yet by Spaniards.
