In other words, you can eat Kosovo, you can wear Kosovo, you can tank your car with Kosovo, you can have goods free of charge just stating to the vendor "Kosovo je Srbija"

Isn't it a bit strange that all other countries on the Balkans want to join EU, the sooner, the better? Simply compare the living standards of the average people in Slovenia (EX-YU) to the ones in Serbia, and it's obvious. No, isolating themselves is higly detrimental for Serbia.

Rubbish. Slovenia was always better off than the rest of Yugoslavia. People from other republics used to go to Slovenia to work like they went to Germany.

Also, ask Romania and Bulgaria how much better they are off now that they are in EU. How much have their living standards improved?

As much as I am not such a Kostunica supporter I have to say that his statement was more than correct. United is exactly what Serbia needs, and no I am not speaking about fascist/nationalism, there is nothing wrong with unity and that is exactly what the Serbian people need. Secondly, he is absolutely correct in regards to Kosovo. It needs to be known exactly where the EU stand, whether they concider it as an independant state or a UN/NATO controlled southern province of Serbia. And then and only then will the Serbian people choose where they want to go. All we ask is for the law to abided, thats that. This shouldnt have to continuously reminded.

"However, I recall your Enver Hoxta shot one of his ministers over a card game. "

-Your recollection is simply a fabrication. Hoxha was a horrible, horrible person. Just about everyone knows this. However he was not a gambler let alone an impulsive one. If you're trying to put us down, try harder next time. Especially considering who and in what circumstances your prime-minister was killed. There are those that point to Kostunica, the army and the Serb church. There is a lot of talk about state capture. These are people who were very close to him.

Kostunica and Ceda are the only two Serbian politicians who are speaking the truth on Kosovo and EU.

That is why none of the them is going to win anytime soon.

According to the DSS leader, the position that there is no alternative to the EU is "highly detrimental".
Nonsense. What should the alternative be? Serbia is not Switzerland, a wealthy land, surrounded by EU states.

Judging by the comments, Serbian Albanians are as deluded about Serbia's foreign policy as SNS-DSS-NS are about winning elections without SRS.
(highduke, 23 March 2010 12:35)

I hope SRS will join this coalition of deluded

Well if you’re that concerned Serbia’s “dire state” there is always that height of prosperity called Albania.

“Politically. Now I understand why Serbian civilians often get fed up and shot their leaders (ex-PMs, ex- Kings....etc)”
Yes here are some well known Serbs leaders killed by their own people – Abraham Lincolnich, J F Kenedyich and there are lots more but you have to look in US history. However, I recall your Enver Hoxta shot one of his ministers over a card game.

The only thing to be fast tracked is Albanians in Kosovo going nowhere very fast. Do you for a moment think that the Germans or others want to raise taxes to prop Kosovo in the EU.
Twenty five years ago there were about 15 EU members with one or two needing financial help today there are more with their hands out for money than there are taxpaying countries that contribute to the EU.
Where do you get this stuff from????

K-Alb are happy that mentality of the last century in Serbia still prevails because it will ISOLATE Serbia BUT the Kosovo and rest of the Balkan will be enetering the EU on the fast track.

Again I am begging to worry about Serbia dire state, both economically (Greece II) and Politically. Now I understand why Serbian civilians often get fed up and shot their leaders (ex-PMs, ex-Presidents ex-Kings....etc)
(PRN, 23 March 2010 10:58)

If you are so convinced about your ongoing boring statements why do you have to repeat it day after day.
Don't you have better to do, per ex. using some positive energy to address the 70+% of unemployed young people in kosovo... or maybe you sit in a cosy place and do not care about your fellow citizens!! Really disturbing mentality!

The more Koštunicas, Jeremics, Milosevics, Seseljs, etc Serbia has, the faster Kosovo will prosper and it will accelarate Prishtina's entry to the EU.
