Zaječar -- Defense Minister Dragan Šutanovac said that the recent increase in soldiers serving military duties in uniform shows that trust has been restored to the army. More likely a sign how bad the economy is and the dismal prospects of finding work.

At least these Serbs are serving their nation at home rather than for their masters in recession proof Afghanistan as several ex-Yugoslav countries have done. No prizes for guessing which.

Perhaps they should go looking to Croatia for work. Opps! Croats are in Italy and other EU countries working doing menial jobs just to survive. So much for our neighbour’s “booming” economy.
Unemployed Croats would love the chance to join the army but considering that the vast majority of their army bases were closed from December to end of February that really tells you the state of that economy.
