EU commissioner in Belgrade visit

Serbia will probably be invited to start accession negotiations with the EU in 2012.

This would mean that Serbia could join the EU on 1 January 2019.

Serbia can not be allowed to join the EU until the war criminal Ratko Mladic is arrested and extradited by the Serbian authorities. It is a well known fact that Mladic is in Serbia and that the politicians have failed to fulfill their international obligation of arresting him so that justice can be served. The EU simply can not compromise on that requirement and it is up to Serbia to fulfill it if it is serious about joining the EU.

Yes and by that time Croatia will be a EU member already for 10 years, mr Thomas still singing about killing jews and Serbs, Daytonagreements not executed, and national holiday still Olluja-day, and Croation reforms even worse than Serbias. Jeremic should perhaps ask the Commissioner why ? Perhaps cutting all the Platanes in Belgrade is not enough as an excuse to the Germans for WOII?
