"I have said in the past and say it again and again that with good will and looking forward to the future the relationships between Serbs and Albanians can be normal. There are losers in any normality. Serbia need to talk to Kosovo/a's representative as equal partners for peace. Agreements can be reached on common goals, free movement of people, goods, fight against crime and corruption and all Balkans in EU. The real sovereign will be EU.

I don't think Serbia is in any hurry to talk to "Kosova". I think its suits Belgrade just fine to have Pristina stuck in limbo and locked out of the UN.

It's important for albanians all over Balkan to support albaians in Presheva. They have survived the hardest pressure during the history. We hope that easing relations between two goverments will improve their situation. Let's see!

Wrong again. It is your representatives in Kosovo that need to cooperate with their true government; Serbia :)

"-- Careful now, Mr. Meta. While I can certainly applaud the initiative for Serbia and Albanian to cooperate, let's not mess with the internal matters of another state (Presevo) unless you're equally ok with Serbia "messing" with northwestern Albania."

How exactly will Serbia "mess" with northwestern Albania? These are homogeneous territories. At best Serbia can find a small ethnic Montenegrin-Serbian population in Vraka of about 1500 ppl. The Slavic Muslims in the region are pro-Albania. So I welcome Serbia's "involvement". ;)

"[Ilir] Meta told reporters in Bujanovac that he is convinced that “this is a new beginning for relations between Albania and Serbia, which will lead to close cooperation between the two state governments and the local governments in Preševo and Bujanovac.”

If you want to equally cooperate/mess with a region, might I suggest Kosovo since it's an international free-for-all anyway? Might even help root out that corruption everyone's been talking about.

Meta also said publicly in front of TV news that he is very impressed how Albanians managed to preserve their national traditions and language under difficult conditions.

I'm sure they would preserve it better in Albania.

Difficult conditions? Piece of cake for these Albanians if you compare with the K-Serbs who can't even travel without armed escort, who have rocks thrown at their houses and vehicles, whose churches are destroyed by "unknown" perpetrators and yes, even their dead can't rest in peace without their tombs and remains being desecrated!
