"Human rights in Serbia are generally respected, and the government kept making progress in the cooperation with the Hague, says a U.S. State Department report."

Classic case of the pot calling the kettle black.

If there is true justice in the world, it is the likes of Holbrooke, Gates, Bush and Clinton who would be at the Hague today.

Torture, Guantanamo Bay, rendition, Abu Grahib prison etc. These are only a few things Serbia should address. Opps! this is not Serbia; why it’s the US, now how did I get this mixed up?
For the God fearing Americans:
“You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye”.

It is always easier to point out somebody else's flaws without taking a good look in the mirror and criticizing your own.On the other hand Serbs are much closer to Americans than many may wish to admit and that is a main reason they have prospered so well in the US.

Reciprocity is important. Serbia should politely write the same about America:

"Human rights in USA are generally respected, and the government kept making progress"

I don't think anything is wrong about doing it. Besides, it's true. We hope for even more progress in both America and Serbia, too.
