Is it an inferiority complex that is demonstrated by Turkey by denying that something like that took place?
Are we to believe that honesty has no place in the minds of the descendants of the murderers?
Could it be religion?

The condemnation of Turkey is inevitable if there are any traces of civilization and selfrespect left under the veil of hypocricy and immorality of international politics.
The entire history of the Ottoman Empire and contemporary Turkey is a series of continuous imperialism, slaughter, plunder and endless bloodshed
of the people who had the misfortune to be conquered by the Turks.
Armenians, Greeks, Syrians, Arabs, Kurds and recently Cypriots were the victims of the Turkish brutality.
The genocide of Armenians and Greeks is numbered in millions of victims. Tens of thousands were victims of Syrians and Arabs in South East Asia Minor.

The Turks should own up to their Crimes against Humanity. They have to take responsibility and admit to their murder of 1.5 Million Armenian men, women and children living in Turkey. They are guilty of genocide, guilty of cowardice and the most despicable and heinous atrocities a nation state can be guilty of.
May God bless and keep all the victims of this genocide in His loving embrace.

I don't know what makes Turkey look worse: the fact it continues to officially deny the Genocide, going as far as making it a criminal offence for anyone in Turkey to mention it; or when another country DOES recognize the Genocide, their reactions are so stupid and impotent. C'mon Erdogan, "without foundation"? You need to get out of your country. Or better yet, consult a simple Wikipedia link that isn't censored by your media.

Good for Sweden! I only with Washington would show the same resolve.

This brings the number of countries that recognizes the genocide to 23.

Bravo Sweden! I hope more will follow shortly.

So far the list is as follows:

Argentina
Armenia
Belgium
Canada
Chile
Cyprus
France
Germany
Greece
Italy
Lithuania
Lebanon
Netherlands
Poland
Russia
Slovakia
Sweden
Switzerland
United Kingdom (all constituent countries except for England)
United States (42/50 states)
Uruguay
Vatican City
Venezuela

Notice how many of them are in the so-called West. Even USA and Venezuela are able to see eye-to-eye here! Doesn't bode well for Turkey's EU aspritations, does it? And rightfully so.

The Turks can fool themselves with the truth with regards to Armenian genocide but they cannot fool the world.
Armenian Genocide has been accepted as one of the most characteristic cases of Genocide by the international Association of Genocide Scholars and is already taught as the archetype Genocide of the twentieth century, in Genocide studies around the world.

The history of the Anatolian
fascist state with regards to Christians is one of genocide, murder, rape and enslavement - the Armenian genocide is only one of many atrocities in the history of the Ottoman Empire and also modern Turkey. The same resolution must be applicable
to the genocide committed by the Turks against the Greeks,Assyrians and others.
