Kosovo towards integration? That is impossible. Certainly towards the EU. If Greece can't make it, how can anyone think Kosovo has a chance?

you can gloat ..., nice!
Still, the fact is that the U.S. and Europeans will simply be on the side of the stronger one of these two gangsters so they can control that louse in the European fur better.

"While the Serbian camp is happy with this news, I will be more happy when both Thaçi and Haradinaj go! We need to work hard, bring the Western mentality to Kosova and one day will be just fine!" (louie)

-- I think most of us regardless of what side we're on would be happy to see that. But as bganon rightly, and pessimistically, points out it will unfortunately get worse before it gets better. Haradinaj is the only major opposition to Thaci. So either Thaci holds on to power and continues to abuse the system, or Haradinaj replaces him and abuses the system for his own. And problably even worse than Thaci. Investments will continue to be misdirected, corruption will continue to spread, honest government will remain ellusive, and the K Serbs will become more and more detached from Pristina's institutions. A true changeover of power will not come for another generation or two, and if the rest of SE Europe is any indication, it will come from widespread anger at the "fat cats" in power. I have no doubt Kosovo's time will come, but the current cadre of kleptocrats need to be completely swept from office.

Quick sensational journalism + yellow press + over-dramatization = B92 article.

This is probably the 20th time AAK (Haradinaj) has accused PM Thaci (PDK), why is this more important?

We need to work hard, bring the Western mentality to Kosova and one day will be just fine!

With the right attitude and hard work we can make it!
Has been only two years and will take more time to get rid of bad apples!

I sense the all pervasive hand of UDBA in all this!
But seriously, this is only the beginning and before democracy in Kosovo is to progress things will get much worse before they get better.

But if Kosovo Albanian politicians think they can capitalise by using (anti) corruption as an accusation, well they will not outflank Kurti as they hope. Oh no. It will look as if Kurti was right all along and not only that but Kurti is currently the only one with clean hands.

well, it was only a question of time, when those simply criminals would start accusing each other of being the perpetrators or this and that...

that´s a common habit among simple criminals.

and that´s what they are.

I just hope they won´t get out of Serbia before serbian police arrests them, once the Kosovo-question is solved.

While I'm happy to see *someone* calling Hash out for what he is, Haradinaj won't be any better if he replaces him. It's pretty sad when the two most influential "politicians" in Kosovo-UNMIK are former warlords. This would be like replacing Milan Babic with Arkan.

So we vote the current bum out of office and replace him with a new bum. Where have I seen this before? Oh yes, that's right. I live in New Jersey.

With my little knowledge of Albanian clans it would seem to me that the only threat to Thaci is Haradinaj, and a serious one at that. It'll be interesting to see if Thaci has the will, nerve and resources to marginalise Haradinaj and consolidate power for himself. My guess is he won't or can't - Haradinaj is too powerful for him.

ISn't how all oppositions try to operate by trying to shift blame and place an "evil" or "incompetent" tag on the government.

His words will fall on deaf ears as well.

My ever and ever growing view is that if Serbs were clever they would ask Kosovo (without Mitrovica) to join Albania, in order to finally get rid of extra burdens and impossible tasks.

Just I'm not sure at all if Albania would welcome Kosovo...

Even though I have relatives who fought under your command, you are not any better Mr Haradinaj. Unlike you, he Thaci the snake removed 1000+ official vehicles and all extra benefits to Government officials. Only when he took power did Kosovo's budget saw a bit control on useless expenditures. Why dont you make an example, start by telling everyone how you earned all those millions?

The Swiss

No kidding, this can't be the case, the snake corrupted, no way, and coming from Hash it must be a labsus; only Milo is missing in the trilogy to confirm this!!
