Sorry,

Wrong link, this is the picture with Ilir Meta.

http://www.nato.int/pictures/2003/030604/b030604g.jpg

I don't see anything wrong about him on the surface. Obviously never let the guard down with any politician, but he does not look like a crook.

Bad for him, the weather is very unusual. Sadly, we had to cancel the Croatian weekend.

Merry Christmas for all this March :-(

C'mon, we do not know Ilir Meta, so let's judge from the pictures:

http://www.nato.int/multi/photos/2003/m030604f.htm

He is on the right and looks like just an other Serb.

Unlike Marc Grossman.

http://www.nato.int/pictures/2003/030604/b030604as.jpg

Just looking at these pictures Marc Grossman not just rings all alarm bells - but he also looks like my former boss, a major S.O.B. I won't buy a used car from him.

Dean don't know why you insist on being so vocal showing your lack of knowledge.

Hatred of Albanians might be a problem for some, but opposition to Kosovo independence based on sound reasoning is something else entirely.

Frankly lack of education and thinking all the 'other' are all the same is part of that, whats more its embarassing because Serbs have a relatively good education.

(RKS, 10 March 2010 21:47)..."

>>> Well @ RKS, would I survive that "educational "trip to Kosovo is the base question?

And btw I may decide to use media for self-education. Have you seen maybe the documentary "La Guerra Infinita" by Riccardo Iacona?
Don't worry...there is an english version to be found on YouTube too. Have a look.
Greetings from the safe-heaven.

(Visit is indeed "historic" because it can initiate steps for negotiations and integration of Serbia's renegade province to the mainland.)
Man do you really believe that or ... I do know your FM has brainwashed you up to this point that you could really see Kosovo being "integrated" to the "mainland". This is just as insulting for Kosovars as it would be for Slovenians/ Croatians if some maniac would tell them "we need to start negotiations to reintegrate your states back with Serbia". Still can only see 20th century mentality from a lot of posters here. get to 21st. A decade is already gone, not to late to catch up.
Thanks B92 and all 21st century non-communist posters. Peace to all.

dean,

Prime Minister Dukanovic couldn't have put better Serbia's stance. Serbia and its people (you) try to make all ex-yugo countries as criminal states. A clear trip to Kosovo will show you that all accusations you made are clearly ridiculous --- but, there is an exception the northern portion of Kosovo. This area is under the control of Serbian criminals who run freely.

They are coming to take me away...ahaaa...they are coming to take me away...ahaaaa.

At this precise moment I want to excuse myself to all the ones here I insulted with my mistake, as well to their families, their friends and certainly their house plants and pets too.

dean SRB

Well, well, well...I did make mistake. Okay, he is then Albanian deputy FM?

Good then,excuses... but all other mentioned stays more less applicable.

This move shows that many albanians and many serbs are civilized people and know to appreciate the values that are really important in life.It shows that we are able to build bridges of communication and we do have a chance to live in harmony and in peace with each other.

As an Albanian I don't think this is bad move by Meta. All in contrary. An increase in economic (and other) cooperation between Albania and Serbia will benefit Kosovo and will ease tensions in the region.

Meta is not going there to sell Kosovo out, as it has no juristiction over it, but he is going there to improve relations and that's long overdue.

Come on, we are not animals. All nations in Europe have killed each other for centuries but they have leared how to cooperate in the name of well being and progress. This stuborn mentality of conflict from both sides is worthless.

Albania made the first move, now it's time for Serbia to do the same.

(Pejoni, 10 March 2010 16:56) ..."

>>> For your kind information none in Serbia ever heard for some Meta and it is indeed good that B92 mentioned his "function".

As well you could also read that I welcomed that particular Kosovo Albanian in Belgrade just that certain requirements should be met whenever it concerns Kosovo Albanians at that understands checking on their possible terrorist, drug smuggling and support for Al-Qeida activities. We all time do have to keep in mind that we are dealing with our lawless, renegade and by mafia run province.
Sorry about that.

Kouchner, who was Kosovo's U.N. administrator in 1999-2001, was asked by a Voice of America reporter in Kosovo this month if he knew about allegations that minority Kosovo Serbs were kidnapped by ethnic Albanians and had their organs removed for trafficking during the 1998-99 Kosovo conflict.

"But you are sick, aren't you? Do I look like someone who would traffic organs? You are insane to believe all kinds of nonsense like that," Kouchner responded. "Sir, you should consult (a doctor) ... people who talk about things like that are bastards and murderers."

Bad move by Meta, but its their choice.

dean SRB

If Meta is not on the "wanted" list then he will be allowed "in and out" from his capitol, Belgrade.

Visit is indeed "historic" because it can initiate steps for negotiations and integration of Serbia's renegade province to the mainland.
Kosovo Albanian media is clearly aware that Meta will not be welcomed, considered and greeted as the "representative of any quasi state" so it is genuinely contra-productive to illusion Kosovo Albanian population with that misinformation.

So Kosovo Albanians, welcome to Belgrade and start writing the "history" by establishing yourself like Serbia's southern province, only prosperous option that you have and will be given by Serbia.
