Of course, the Turks used the Albanian janissaries to a great extent also; however many Albanians opposed Turkey and fought along the Balkan nations for freedom from the Ottoman yolk.
(Jugoslavija, 10 March 2010 20:40)

This is true, but unfortunately for every Hunyadi, Lazar Hrebeljanović, Gjergj Kastrioti, Nikola Subić-Zrinski all of us had few idiots or traitors who sided with Ottomans and tried to sell their country for either peanuts or for an other wet dream.

I doubt any foreign leader knows both Serbia and Kosovo better then him.
(Pejoni, 10 March 2010 12:49)

How true - and Croatia, too! Ask residents of Dubrovnik, who did shell their city. No one in exYU knows better than him, where to get SEMTEX cheap and how to put underneath a car.

Please do not praise villains: that can backfire.

RE; Djukanovic Traitor

Througout history, the most nationalist extremists are those from the same race;

Djukanovic is trying to create an Anti-Serb country who are Serbs.

In Boznia/Herzegovina, the so called Bosnian Muslims who are converted Christian Orthodox or Catholics are the most "ardent Bosnians" even though their roots are either Serb or Croat.

During the Ottoman occupation of the south slav lands, the most ardent traitors were Serbs, Greeks or Croats who worked against their nations through the Janissaries placed there by the Ottoman empire. Of course, the Turks used the Albanian janissaries to a great extent also; however many Albanians opposed Turkey and fought along the Balkan nations for freedom from the Ottoman yolk.

If official Montenegro is so adamant that Saric is not hiding in Montenegro, then they must know his whereabouts. This is all so fishy to me. Is Dukanovic somehow involved with saric and his gang? It would not be a surprise, because Dukanovic controlled most of the mafia activities while CG was part of Yugoslavia, why wouldn't he now?

Actually Milo, I've yet to meet a Serb who's upset at "losing" Montenegro. Almost everyone I know there was happy to cut your zadruga lose. It's not like they can't go to CG, and it's not like they lost their property there either. They just don't have to subsidize you anymore. Rather, I think it's Milo's own cadre that has a hard time accepting independence since they went from being part of a union with Serbia to a tool of the West, being forced to dance for their supper in exchange for empty promises of economic investment in political immunity.

"that serbs never take responsibilty for their actions....they either blame some one else or try and justify it due to some wrong that was done to them about a million years ago." (nikshala)

-- Oh please nikshala. You know as well as I that no one in SE Europe EVER takes responsiblity for their own actions. Isn't Milo's whining here indicative of that? When was the last time an Albanian leader admitted poor socio-economic conditions were a result of corrupt leadership, bad government, and poor planning instead of the tired old "Milosheviq/MUP propaganda?" The minute Thaci admits the limits of his capabilities instead of using some idiotic invasion of a Serb municipality in Kosovo as a smokescreen I'll take your statement with more seriousness.

How interesting that all these neighboring statelets are badmouthing Serbia and trying so hard because Serbia is ignoring them. It is just like when little dog meets the big dog. All he can do is make a lots of noise to look fearless.

Kujon,
I for one am happy that when our football team plays I can now listen to Boze Pravde, and see the Serbian flag instead of that stupid upside down Dutch flag we used to have, which meant nothing. This is possible because Montenegro is no longer in the union.
However, when they wake up, come to their senses, and realize that they, the Montenegrins, are Serbs, they too will listen to our anthem with pride. This day will come, and Milo will be looked at the same way as Vuk Brankovic. His name will live in infamy.

As Djukonvic says, Serbia is the regional problem, not Kosovo. I doubt any foreign leader knows both Serbia and Kosovo better then him.
(Pejoni, 10 March 2010 12:49)

Of course Serbia is the regional problem if you're a smuggler - they try to stop you! The inbreds from KLA welcome that sort of business.

I have yet to meet a Serbian person, living in Belgrade, who wishes Montenegro was still in union with Serbia.
The people are fine with the independence and haven't looked back.

Djukanovic is the only reason for bad relations between Serbia and Montenegro. He really is by a mile the worst and most corrupt leader in the Balkans. Let's just hope Serbs don't react against all Montenegrans because of one Mafia idiot.

""three important things" related to Operation Balkan Warrior – an international effort last year that thwarted the smuggling of more than two tons of cocaine from South America last year – "that the suspects are Serbian citizens, they were arrested in Serbia and that most of the money which the suspects earned was used to buy property in Serbia".

Its is interesting to see the prime minister of a country publicly accusing Serbia of what is already widely know - that serbs never take responsibilty for their actions....they either blame some one else or try and justify it due to some wrong that was done to them about a million years ago.

Đukanović, Serbia indeed cannot come to terms that one country, in this case Montenegro, can be run by organized cigarette mafia.

And concerning Montenegrin "wish" for independence we shall surely respect it if it is voted in one real independent referendum, but them for all Montenegrins in Serbia please note that you will not be having any of present privileges in our country(as you should not be having them now too), but you will be treated like any other foreigner.
It is more then high time to get rid of Montenegrins on Serbia's leading and "directors" positions.

Đukanović, and his ruling clan, are all linked to illegal activities in the former Yugoslavia and elsewhere in Europe. Darko Šarić is part of that clan, and it would be unthinkable that he should be sent to Serbia or elsewhere for trial. Đukanović protects his own; it’s the Montenegrin way.

The US State Department has a room full of evidence against Đukanović. When it suits them, regime change in Montenegro will be swift and thorough. Milo Đukanović and his clan will spend the rest of their lives rotting in an American dungeon somewhere in the world.

Hmm, I think it's more of a case that Montenegro has yet to realise its independence. It seems that Washington is dictating terms to Đukanović and doing things against the will of the people. So much for independence.
