Well why is it so difficult that issue? Serbia should be represented as Serbia, Kosovo/a should be represented as Kosovo/a, Slovenia as Slovenia...there is no need for the word "republic". End of the story.

"At the same time, the Kosovo Albanian president and prime minister, Fatmir Sejdiu and Hashim Thaci, said that they would travel to Slovenia "only as representatives of the state of Kosovo"---

I empathize - HAHAHA. For 20 years, the west refused to seriously negotiate with the Serbs. What's different now? The Serbs have had almost the same experience as the Vietnamese and the Cubans - decades of stupid western foreign policy. Do you know where they can stuff their conferences?

How can there be meetings and talks between nations in the Balkans, when there has never been a mutually accepted agreement that these nations even exist? Aren't the politicos putting the cart in front of the horse here? Besides, there is an arrest warrant for war crimes in existence for one of the would be participants.

...and there will be none if Tadić suddenly will not decide to compromise Serbian national interests for the promise of the EU cake we will taste never.

Seems that It is a curse at issue; Mr. Tadic will most probably (compelled to do so) reject once more participation in one of the Regional summits. This reminds me in the stubborn policy of Albania during the Cold Ear era. Nowadays, Albanians are being paying a high price either because of that poor stubborn communist ideology or due to the consequences that the same period has been generating in the social and economic plans.
The irreversible does not reverse, so leave aside empty phraseology for sake of the political goals, and get to the real ground for sake of the brighter future first of all of your children. They disserve much more than being deceived by false evidences and perverting of the history. At the end; in case of Mr. Tadic’s absence in the summit, guess who will lose the most?

But he did state once again that "both Tadić and Thaci confirmed their presence" at the forthcoming regional conference, "as did all other leaders of the Western Balkans countries that have been invited".

I hope they both attend, for the sake of regional stability and extend the hand of reconciliation to each other. Lets see if one of them will chicken out!?
