This position is supported time and time again in polls conducted on public opinion in Serbia.

Roughly 60% support joining the EU. Roughly 70% would choose Kosovo over the EU.

Vuk is just speaking what is on the mind of the avergage Serb.

Who the hell is he and why does he keep getting attention when he is a nobody in Serbian politics?

I think the real choice for Serbia is :
1. EU without Kosovo
or
2. No EU with NO Kosovo.

So either way there will be no Kosovo, sorry, and Jovanovic seems to be the only smart serbian politician to see and understand this.

- I am 200% with хрчак against EU.

This is simply because automatically nodding to any EU demand regarding any issue about хрчак means I lose the leverage. I would insist that Serbian official position regarding хрчак is world's only most хрчак-est position and EU's хрчак-s can look at my middle finger. EI would be probably upset - than I would suggest, OK, we can negotiate about хрчак-s, but not necessary. While doing it I would try to look at my negotiating partner to see how he reacts. Much depends on their reaction and be ready to walk out even at the last moment.

Not sure how many of you did buy cars in USA. This is the way to buy the car. Research. Know the dealer's price he does pay for the car to the manufacturer. And be ready to play hard and watch out till last second. Doing it 1:1 (person-to-person) takes usually a day. Doing it over internet about a week or two.

This experience is very different than in Europe, but here EU is no more or less than American-style car dealership. Don't be sucker, break out of self-imposed prisons, don't pay the sticker price.

This LDP-woodcutter assistant of Djilas, can put Belgrade to shame shaving it, ruin tourism, but he cannot reduce in size the best foreign Minister Serbia had since Garashanin. He really brought Serbia very close to Europe without giving up anything. He deserves respect from the opposition.

But I would never expect some one like Ceda to read such a document or no it's implications on policies. Even for someone who at times claims to be guided by "classical liberalism."
