I am beggining to doubt your US citizenship as you claim.

questions: When did RICO act took effect, and before RICO act was introduced, was Federal govermant able to confiscate property/wealth as result of massing wealth through crime?
answer: NO
only IRS was able to confisctae property due to unpaid/evasion of taxes.
Therefore, Kosova/o does not have such law in place yet.
Stop mixing Apples with Oranges, my dear fellow american.

An Albanian inhabiting the US tries to tell an American cop about RICO? Laughable.

...then again, your crew in NYC has lots of experience about RICO - but just on the receiving end of it:) The Bureau has been hammering Albanian OC groups as of late.

Anyhow, you need to stop speaking of that which you do not know. Kosovo does have a forfeiture law in effect. Too bad it took 10 YEARS of international supervision to get there. And no, nothing has been seized from the Kelmednis, Thachis, Haradinajs, Gashis, or any other criminal clan here.

You need to check your facts on YOUR so-called country. It is sad an American has to fill you in on Kosovo.

Why not show us where Kosovo "authorities" have seized ANYTHING from the criminal clans here...

You simply cannot.

It is so easy to criticize a functioning country when you yourself do not have one.

Interesting link Mikael, although somewhat off topic!

On the topic I applaud the seizing of this Saric's assets. I hope that soon the Montenegrin government is forced to act against one of its citizens.

Yes Kosova USA I wouldn't at all be suprised if Saric had some sponsors in Serbia, but even more likely that his sponsors are high up in the Montenegrin government.

Another Canadian Serb

Serbia should purchase some state of the art military equipment with this new found money.

Who said that crime doesn't pay?

You mean like Ramush who is building a castle in Kosovo. Where did he get the money? Perhaps he won the jackpot lottery? Or the son of Fatmir Sejdiu who is controling the taxi market in Pristina while denying other taxi companies the same privelages.

"We all know that this company is registered under the president’s son’s name, and that is why the municipality has given the firm permission to operate so quickly, while other taxi companies which have worked here for ten years aren’t allowed to expand their services."

"He said that his company, like many others, had not been allowed to increase the size of its fleet because of a lack of parking, while London Taxi had been awarded permits without any problem."
