Well the first thing is you dont call him a general if you are not hiding him. Remember he is accused for war crimes and genocide, and is still loose.
How many other generals do you know like that?

Well here are three for starters.

"When will people stop this persecution of Serbia about capturing war criminals? Serbia has captured and handed over something like 98% of the people it has been required to. Can any other country match that level of commitment? "

What country has failed to turn over all of the war criminals it has been required to?

Then why are General Wesley Clark; General David Petraeus; General Stanely McChrystal and many, many others allowed to hold their titles?

I think 'fact-or' is implying that the Serbian goverment has sympathies towards Mladic and this is shown by the minister still referring him to as General even they he is no longer a General of any army.

'UK' this "persecution" you speak of is not something the victims of the war will consider a fair comment.

You must also remember that this treatment was also given to Croatia when it had only 1 remaing suspect left. And it was found that he had not been in Croatia since he had fled. With the arrest of Karadzic in Serbia and the fact that there are two suspects at large then it is fair to say that Serbia should receive the same treatment as Croatia if not harsher.

I am not sure I really understand your comment? Are you actually suggesting that because the Serb representative referred to him as General that is some kind of proof that Belgrade is hiding him?
I have read some fairly tentative comments on B92 before now but that really tops them all. When will people stop this persecution of Serbia about capturing war criminals? Serbia has captured and handed over something like 98% of the people it has been required to. Can any other country match that level of commitment? I think not. So how about some more balanced thinking. It is time, I feel, to accept that Belgrade is totally committed to finding the two remaining men. A spirit of co operation might be more useful rather than constant finger pointing!
