These is what lies ahead for you Serbs. What is happening in Greece is happening in Romania and has happened in Hungary. The Eu has lead these countries to bankrupcy, in order to save their clientelle banks and corporations. Romania had to borough BILLIONS from the IMF to save the local branches of western banks. And who's paying the bill? The population ofcourse. Reduced pensions, people fired, child's aid is being shortened. And while this is happening, the EU is sending congratulations to our government. Our foreign debt is almost GALACTICAL (to import a term from football) and small and medium romanian bussines are closing. Unemployment has reached umbelieveble figures, in some places it grew by more than 100%! You cannot say a word agains the system: they( central foreign owned media) will call you a communist, a fascist or antisemite. Capitalism is nothing else than comunism in a nice wrapping. It's a lie. I hope we wake up and fight them, just like the greeks. That's why they need Serbia and the other ex/iugoslav markets.. i meant countries. You're the last cow to milk. We're just a market to them. Fight on greeks!

'What about the capitalist cronyism? Is it better to pay $ 108 billion of taxpayers monies to bail out AIG
and give Goldman Sachs $20 billion for arranging the bailout?

What about the $12billion taxpayers money Goldman paid out in bonuses?

You can also tell your corrupt bankers and financiers to stop stealing taxpayers monies and instead use them feed the 38 million
Americans living on food coupons or have a decent medical care.'

I remember seeing Jon Stewart do a wonderfully hillarious skit on the whole GS, AIG debaucle.

Unfortunetly he, like you, concluded that the process he'd just lampooned had at it's root some sort of unrestrained free market capitalism. Unfortunely this poor deluded fool either didn't recognize the fallacy of his arguement or choose to attack capitalism by wrongly equating it with corporatism.

And you seem guilty of the same.

ZMAJ

You have new tax policies, BTW! (Any law must be introduced and forced by Government instruments)

About Lazopoulos:

This is THE STRONGEST figure in now days Greece. The large scale but "quiet war" is running now and several years against him and from many structures of Greek society. If you bring those structures to the light those are EXACTLY the same structures Greeks would like to get rid of powers. We're joking and laughing but the FEAR of Him is a everyday life of YOUR NEMESIS!! If he was not present and on the scene.., I can imagine how worst things would be, right now!

About Albanians and others...:

You can not expel them- so what do you want?

Put them in the order (legally) and repatriate them if they want so they will finally invest something. Try to force Greek working class by offering human conditions and good payment- forget about existing (Albanian) almost slavery- standards. Not many Greeks would work in this conditions!

By forcing different policies on different fields you can get control of the country in several years.

But take care- my stocks are in Greece STILL!

pyrros

pre 14 godina

YOU KNOW FOR HOW LONG DID I PREACH *some* of LAZOPOULOS's views (who BTW in 50% of his views is completely aligned with new order : in favor of albanians, hostile to the church, etc...)
You know the result?
Give me a break...
Its like me trying to sound Cetnik to bganon, he will not buy it, and he is 100% entitled to do that, just as you are miles away from being able to even touch my psyche.

The greek populace, the public sector, the private sector, the small businesses are SO ANARCHIC, lazy and CORRUPTED, and if you think that you can transform 5,000,000 corrupted Greeks (+1,000,000 millions albanians + various asians) into smth good, then i'd like to hear your methods.

(arti, 25 February 2010 23:09)

Of course Arti, no one else than Greeks is guilty for this economic situation.. BUT.., the role of Albanian population in Greece (almost 2 million- NOT 1 like mentioned by The Greek) is very unhealthy for the Greek economy because of it's maximal (and constant) tensions of driving money out of the country. The capabilities of Albanian population in Greece to live on low standards saving most of the money for future investment in Albania are VERY destructive for Greek economy. The fashion in Greece- to have "your own Albanian" is payed very costly. I do not agree that "Greece gives you bread" as someone said but that you work very hard for that. In spite of my believing that Albanian population is THE CANCER of the "Greek tissue" I'm pretty sure that fictive exodus of that population from the country would be nightmare for the Greek economy, also, if not irreparable thing. All the cancers are same complicated and their final tension is- metastasis.

I don't give a penny for you Albanians but I'm worried for our beloved Greeks and their interests. Their interests are DEFINITELY NOT to bring you in EVERY SINGLE HOUSE!

This lazy Greek fashion of having "personal Albanian" must stop because it's disease and nothing else.

arti

(The Greek, 25 February 2010 13:55)
What is wrong with you man, all you write about is blaming Albanians for the recent crissis in Greece, just because select people here like PRN that I myself I don't think he's Albanian ties the current situation in Greece with Albanians have to spit everything bad that comes out of your mouth for Albania,
only a crazzy person ( be that from anywhere in the balcan region ) would think that the collapse of Greek economy would bring them a brighter future, there is no benefit on it to happen to any of as, the poorer your neighbor is the more problems you're going to have end of the story.

OK Pyrros!

Let the God DO IT ALL "with His Holy light" as you say.., but don't be surprised if He comes- "me ton Alvano tou"!!

One thing I'll not leave "to pass" on this ping-pong and that's, as you say: "Allow me, as a Greek, whose Kids must BUILD A FUTURE here to care more."

Pyrros, I'm sorry to say but YOU DO NOT CARE! You're slightly worried, extremely depressive, lost and pessimist "to the bone". I wouldn't give you any moral right to educate any of the Greek kids in this condition you're right now- because I CARE!

The only leader you'll ever need now days is Lazopoulos but 99% of the Greeks still believe He's joking. He's DAMN serious man! I would be PROUD to have such a president and sometimes solutions are "just here" and can vanish without to be mentioned, at all. He would bring new dimension in Greek politics and He's the only men can bring Greek government to the people! NO ONE ELSE- TODAY!

Open your eyes! Here's "your God", and he is alive and ready to work hard! Take Him out of the screen and put him in the chair. I'm absolutely sure things would change on better SAME YEAR in practice and on the paper.

Wake up Pyrros, wake up Greece!

Maybe you should read a little better. In the parentheses I did say that capitalism has its problems too just like a Socialist country. Both systems are riddled with problems. Socialism is an over-dependence of the government, while Capitalism has too much faith that the markets will correct any issue. The truth and best option is somewhere in the middle. The Greeks are cuurently on the extreme end of things with Socialism because the money isn't there.

What we are seeing in Greece is the failure of Socialist cronyism. You can't just give people jobs when there isn't money. I don't want to sound like a typical free market capatalist (which has it's flaws too), but where the heck do you think the government gets most of its money? The private companies and individuals (ok, they may have some govt. run things that they make money on) who pay taxes. So these lazy Greeks have to realize that their government funded job is going to get cut either way. To all the EU nay-sayers, all they want to do is bring back SANITY to the system. The events taking place in Greece and other countries should be a wake up call for those countries queing up to join the European superstate.

The infexibility of "one currency fits all" combined with the the absence of a unified fiscal policy and accountability has turned the
euphoria of the Lisbon Treaty into a nightmare.

If the EU decides to bail out
its troubled members they will have to print billions of unbacked euros which ,of course, will crash its value in the world currency markets.

I have posted along the same lines for a long time and i still maintain that undemocratic unions will eventually fail.

The undemocratic Lisbon Treaty is the creation of the banksters of Bassle and the European elites and will be consigned to the dusbins of history.

You said it half jokingly but I was amazed at how Greece is divided: Corfu, Crete, Athens, Arvanites, Vlachs...they all have their own subculture and barely feel like the rest. Crete will go for sure, Cypriots have nothing to do with modern Greeks when it comes to DNA and other gems. Greece is artificial, only religion keeps them together

You have been in the EU for 20+ years, last year alone got $10 billion from EU. You have a $500 Billion debt that now must be paid and you call Albania poor? Yeah, we're poor, but after 20 of EU I'll guarantee you we'll be in better shape than you

ZMAJ

But the hotel stuff didn't join the strike... WHY??! Why you're prolonging and giving time to a government to reorganize again and again.., and again.. By my opinion Greek governments "this or another" are playing "stainless steel - nerves" in a simple game counting on TIME to work out the things in their interest. Until the Greeks are not united and determined NOTHING can really change!! EVERY GREEK COUNTS! Otherwise they'll beat you segment by segment- month by month and year by year, that's so simple! Forget about EU, there's everybody watching their own ass..., they're waiting something "to fell from the table" eventually..(Right now the money is flowing out of the country) IN THIS FIGHT YOU'RE ALONE- this is your fight!

Ah Leonidis, the Greek Prpoganda Minister strikes again.. (just kidding of course).

Now, the US has its problems no doubt as we saw with the banking system, but don't kid yourself Leonidis, if you had the money, you could live like a King in either place. Just read my posts a little carefully since you claim to be be very educated....
