Peggy having read your comments for a while I wouldn't expect you to be aware of Catalonia's (with Barcelona as its capital) struggle for independence from Spain. It took a Milosevic like figure in Spain's Franco to brutally repress their aspirations for freedom.

And yes, I am aware of the separatists in Spain.

Why would you question someone's identity? For all your anti-Albanian vitriol no one is questioning your identity or calling you a Serb.

And I beg to differ on the necessary Spanish history expertise. You ignorantly assume that all Spaniards are pro Serb but if you knew of the Basque and Catalunya's struggle for independence from Spain you wouldn't have made those snide remarks which frankly seemed very petty.

As for countries educational system, though it lacks some things, it is a world better than Kosovo's where one can become a doctor or lawyer with a year or two and a few thousand euros.
(Jason, 25 February 2010)

That may be true but at least up to high school students at least get a real education and whatever they don't learn in school they get it from the media, unlike the U.S. where the populace is kept purposely ignorant.

Wow, if "Melena.B" has recognized Kosovo, stop the presses! This will resonate in the UNSC. But, as an American I do NOT recognize Kosovo, so I guess we negate each other:)
(Jason, 25 February 2010 11:46)

I am ready to recognize all Melenas, be them Melena."B"(erisha) or Melena."G"onzales.
The problem is rather the other way. :-(

Hehe Majlinda again.
(szemi, 24 February 2010 21:14)

I have no problem on that. As said many times, sport, girls, friends and family have nothing to do with politics.

Anyway, she looks hot and I end the topic here. I am sure B92 will censor the rest as sexually inappropriate.

On less sexual content: imagine for a moment, that "ZERO" kilometer stone in Budapest marks the Croatian/Serbian/Slovak triple border and Vlora Citaku is the president.

1) The cakes is Serbia/KosMet are rather of German (less sweet, more substance) style and cost 1.5 times less than in Hungary

2) The 0.5% milk costs in Slovakia precisely the half it does in Hungary

3) The prshut and the Croatian smoked tongue is not that far away

4) Viktor Orbán has to learn Serbian and Albanian

5) Tácsi Bácsi is busy with MÁV and BKV corruption, no time for small things like hashish.

I see only benefits.

Serbia has to lose nothing, she already lost, but Spain yes if it continue like this. It's very difficult and risky to stand agains new order. Heroes are dead.

Well, we can only praise the spanish position to be in line with what should be the respect of the 1244 resolution!
Unfortunately too many countries ignored it and some others most probably never read it or were "forced" to ignore it before recognizing this illegal UDI.

Dont you see and hear that recently, many people including Feith, has realised that the ICJ outcome will gain Serbia. Therefore they are in a hurry now for north of Kosovo. To all Serbs and also to the big majority of the whole world: Sit down in the boat, nothing during the last 2 years have gone wrong. You are on the right track for sure ! Wait and see. Ask anyone from Unmik, Eulex or OSCE if Kosovo is a country. The answear is a No.

Logic

@ DIRTAN, BOSSS & Co.

No mistake in the number of 60 here. That's the current count of countries that still recognize "Kosova".
The discrepancy of 5 is coming from the fact that 5 very powerful and important countries have in secret annulled their recognition decision. They do not want to make it public at present, fearing the mighty numbers of Albanians worldwide, led by heroic Kosova police/army that will with unstoppable force easily overrun their countries and claim the new Illyrian territories once for ever. Living happily ever after as the youngest democracy in the world, with happiest minorities,w.heroes Thaci,Kuci,Buci,Haradinaj, Morina(?)Sejdiu, polar bears, you name it... Then Russia will recognize as well (or they did already?)

Mr. Moratinos, this relic of cold war, a member of Socialists Workers Party, will take the boot next elections in Spain. It's just a matter of time before Spain recognizes Kosova once the next right oriented government is installed in Spain.
Now, I am categorically against the concept of Spain recognizing Kosova because of EU pressure or economic reasons. That simply won't work, since the people that make that decision don't really feel any economic burden either way. Spain will recognize Kosova because is the principled and the right thing to do. Unfortunately Mr. Morations and current Spanish government was formed based on an anti-US platform after Madrid bombing, and such it will use any opportunity to show its stance, the easier one is K issue. Basque aspirations for more independence from Spain's central government are in no way comparable to K-issue. The entire world, Spain included, clearly saw with horror, the hordes of Serb military cleansing entire areas in the matter of days during 90's in Kosova. Basque is just an excuse for Spain government not to recognize K-independence, it's simply a cover for its backwards ideology in which their governing is currently functioning. There are many other countries with bigger separation problems (Turkey and Canada for example) that have recognized K-Independence simply by looking at the reality and avoiding wrong comparisons. None of these countries had any problem after this recognition.
Likewise, many other countries that do not have separation problems, like Chavez government, doesn't recognize K. simply to poke US in the eye.
The bottom line is that K-independence cannot be a precedent for Spain or any other country in the world. Spain in particular will not suffer at all by recognizing Kosova. Saying that Spain doesn't recognize K because of Basque problem it's simply wrong. Basque people will continue to do whatever they have done during last 5 decades despite K-recognition and it will be up to Spain to solve the opened issues with that minority. Spain will recognize K and it will do so when the time is right.

> in the 2nd half of the 1st year - 9,
> in the 1st half of the 2nd year - 8,

Barring a negative outcome at the ICJ for Serbia, 'Pseudo-state' has about as much chance of reaching '97' as it has of winning a medal at the Vancouver Games.

And judging by the increased hedging of those who support 'fake-state', a positive outcome is looking more & more likely ;)

Gotta love B92, three articles within the same day on Serbia thanking countries for not recognizing Kosova's independence. Must be getting desperate. Hurry and send thank you notes to the remaining 120 something countries.

You just neutralised another separatist.
Looks like there are Albanians in Barcelona as well.
(Peggy, 25 February 2010)

Peggy having read your comments for a while I wouldn't expect you to be aware of Catalonia's (with Barcelona as its capital) struggle for independence from Spain. It took a Milosevic like figure in Spain's Franco to brutally repress their aspirations for freedom.

Ataman,
your point well taken, but I wish you could check google or youtube and enter the name of Majlinda Kelmendi. It is a public record no matter how hard some try to avoid it (serb news media in particular).
(Kosova-USA, 24 February 2010 18:05)

Hehe Majlinda again.Huge succes winning an event which interests only the relatives of competitors.Yeah we see her day by day on major sports chanels.Last time you mentined her here this is what one of more normal albanians answered if you happened to have forgotten it.

Kosova-USA, I've seen many of your comments here and let me just say, from Albanian to Albanian, please cease. You're just an embarrassment. You know full well that we have not been successful at sports, and granted that we have had talent, they have always been bought by other countries. I would understand if the article had something to do with Kosova, but it is completely unrelated. You do sound bitter, nosy, and just rude. Either post something constructive or don't at all.

I know plenty of Albanian trained doctors and lawyers who have passed the board and bar exams in the U.S.. A Kosovar trained doctor even works at the Hackensack University Hospital in your home state.

Logic, Mikael C, Ataman, you really made me laugh today, tx...

Well, we can only praise the spanish position to be in line with what should be the respect of the 1244 resolution!
Unfortunately too many countries ignored it and some others most probably never read it or were "forced" to ignore it before recognizing this illegal UDI.

Of course no surprise to see the k-camp spiting on Spain and its representant.
Who hasn't the same opinion as the k-a, is automatically an ennemy!

-- I do not need to be an expert in Spanish history to question the identity of someone on this site. Most people know the deal with Basque separatists (terrorists like ETA) and Catalan as well. The vast majority of Spaniards, I would assert, are pro-Serbian. (Jason, 25 February 2010)

I know plenty of Albanian trained doctors and lawyers who have passed the board and bar exams in the U.S.. A Kosovar trained doctor even works at the Hackensack University Hospital in your home state.

Well the problem is rather not her age but the fact that "she" is too masculine

Even the strongest sailors would envy such thick and hairy forearm."Girls" with too high testosteron level are not too atractive for me.Perhaps doping checks at such low level sports events are not too serious.

BTW:
Good news: in Russia it's always the man who says the last word.
Bad news: that last phrase is usually "yes, honey".

Vlora Citaku for (Hungarian) President

pre 14 godina
