U.S. KFOR troops stage drill in north

So what's the plan?
Provoke the Serbs into violence and then react to this violence?

This is not going to end well.

For those who thinks that Kosovo is a democratic and mulitcultural place watch this documentary by Italian RAI. Unfortunately its in italian with Serbian subtitles but watching it is more than enough to understand the true albanian agenda.

Young Serbs being killed and harrassed by albanians(with the assistance of KFOR), albanian maffia running the political life in Kosovo and albanians clearely saying that Serbs are not welcome in Kosovo.

This is nothing new for me but it makes all those fanatic albanians on this site look even worse.

The reinforcing of combat units means other KFOR units, not KSF which we all know is NOT a combat unit but a humanitarian force, as told to us by the nice German general last week.

Hell will freeze over before KSF is up north. Stop kidding yourselves.

This is an infringement of civil liberties. How dare the Americans suggest they uphold democracy and freedom of speech they are bullies. The Serbs of the North are entitled to snub Pristina and run parallell institutions they are living in Serbia not Kosova.

I guess Serbs should stay where they are and wait for the situation in the world to change. For the time being it’s hard to imagine what we can do to improve it . I think we need some active defense for neither EU nor it’s overseas patron can afford keeping explosive in the heart of Europe for another decade. Maybe the second wave of the economic crisis will bring down the Anglo-Saxon treaty. Then their barking dogs in the regions will also become more realistic to search for peace. Possibly Serbia should also become more flexible to offer the US a rent for their Bondsteel base. Closer cooperation with Russia will also instigate the rivals for compromises. But right now we need an active defense on all fronts.

Those developments include an ICO/Kosovo Albanian government strategy to "integrate" this, predominantly Serb area of the province, and bring it under Priština's control.


US is going to a great lenght to integrate the North fully to Thaci's hand. North Kosovo is part and parcel of Kosovo and will remain so. We ONLY need to formally talk to democratically elected people in the North so that they undertstand that their future would be safe abd sound in Kosovo.

We thank USA for support UNTIL our army gets ready to secure in its own the borders of the newest state in the world.

P.S. Please note that the US troops (some of them very likely come from Iraq) are ready for everything. SO better behave as a resposnsible civilised individual or you are in trouble.

Serbs should NOT be affraid/scared of this developments BECAUSE this is for the BEST of Kosovo and the region.

Most albanians on this site are dreamers. They actually think that the north will be forced by force to join Pristina institutions. The west has broken so many rules already and any attempt to force a people to be run by a maffia is out of the question. 2 years ago a canadian journalist wrote the following:

If a country that recognized Kosovo thinks like this, then how can Serbia fail at the ICJ?

In march 2004. they didn't have any drills. Then they pull out some parts of Kosovo and left Serbs in mercy of Albanian mobs. Double standards! Seen many times before!
If this is the way of Priština to occupy the only free part of Kosovo its north they won't make it. I would like to see that person who will shutdown any office in Kosovska Mitrovica including university of Priština (real one in Kosovska Mitrovica)which follow Serbian plan and program. It's not real for it to follow some program from Priština.
I would really like to see that man who will try to put the flag of so called state of Kosovo on the serbian side of bridge in Kosovska Mitrovica let alone somewhere deep inside of the north part of Kosovo.

The KFOR command in Priština has announced that their deployment will confirm operational ability to reinforce and support any combat group in Kosovo.

It's just performance for Albanians. Performance for Priština to turn attention of real problems of their fellows Albanians to the "problem" with the north. Nothing will happen. Priština won't take over this part of Kosovo let alone rule with it. Like the Serbs can't wait to be occupied even in this part of Kosovo. No way!

There are no parallel institutions in the north. Only parallel institutions are those in Priština.

Jason, KFOR is not there to divide the north and ajoin it to Serbia. Chances are better for KSF then VS to go into north. Most of Europeans see that. You must admit that, too.

Soon it's time to show criminals in northern Mitrovica, where the cabinet will stand. Those who have clean hands need not be afraid at all. Thaçi & Co., seems to be so smart, look what happened in Shterpce, we did not need to integrate people with violently, new elected leader threw out troublemakers, the same thing will happen in Mitrovica quite so soon.
