Feith is just the name of somebody executing a function in a larger political process. The name is not important, the process is. The serbian side tries to confuse the two. Even if Feith goes away somebody else will come in his place to do the same job. Even if the mandate is not extended, another mandate, maybe with different name, will be created.

Not necessarily. One way to change policy without losing face is to change the public face of that policy with an explantion of "he got it wrong".

pss,

Thank you for your reply. However, READ carefully. I said ENTERED the 3rd (calendaric) decade.

I hope this satisfy you...(this time)

Kosovo has entered its 3rd decade (the first year 1999 - the decade of the 1990s, the decade of 2000s and now the 2010s)FREE OF OCCUPATION and the third year of independence so we DONT need EULEX or EU Special Representative. They are part of the past of Kosovo.
PRN
I have never criticized your posts before but do you not think that is a stretch. While technically true, the 1999, 2000's, 2010 would cover three different decades but to say that Kosovo has been free of occupation for three decades is a huge stretch.
Most people consider 3 decades as or very close to 30 years, here you are talking about 11 years.
This is similar to incidents reported here where someone throws a rock at a building and then the report is "Albanian's stone building"

"In September 2010 Kosovo aims to become a UN member...well as things are unfolding this looks pretty certain to happen, even more so since Russia is giving credible indication that Kosovo recognition may be imminent.

This is a repost in case my earlier response did not get through.

PRN,

Make sure you remember and come back to this post of yours in September. I think you will not be able to do so without suffering a great loss of face. But we will see.

PRN,

Do you actually believe these fairytales you write or just aim to make other people laugh?

For those who thinks that Kosovo is a democratic and mulitcultural place watch this documentary by Italian RAI. Unfortunately its in italian with Serbian subtitles but watching it is more than enough to understand the true albanian agenda.

Young Serbs being killed and harrassed by albanians(with the assistance of KFOR), albanian maffia running the political life in Kosovo and albanians clearely saying that Serbs are not welcome in Kosovo.

This is nothing new for me but it makes all those fanatic albanians on this site look even worse.

Feith should not be there at all if he is not neutral. This man could lead all of Europe into a very dangerous situation, without justice there can be no peace. The Serbs have not had justice and kosovo will be the cesspit of Europe until they do. LET'S START HAVING SOME HONESTY INSTEAD OF ALL THE LIES.

Peter Feith is either an egomaniac or a tool of the internationals to try and push Serbia as far as possible without taking responsibility.

Either way, enough is enough. Nothing will be solved without dialogue and certainly things will get worse with this bullish and aggressive initiative from Feith.

The EU needs to close this nonsense down immediately.

PRN

I think six months extension is more than enough.

In Kosovo now rules democracy and Human Rights for citizens of Kosovo.

Faith did a good job but he must go. Serbia knows that things in Kosovo are settling faster than they ever predicted, thus more (useless)trouble is expected in Belgrade in weeks and months ahead.

In September 2010 Kosovo aims to become a UN member...well as things are unfolding this looks pretty certain to happen, even more so since Russia is giving credible indication that Kosovo recognition may be imminent.
