The regions supporting Yanek were added to what is called the Ukraine in 1922. Later in 1940 we added 4 more regions which vote against Russia and in 1954 we added Crimea which is pro-Russian. So it comes that those regions which were parts of the Empire vote for us while regions which for 200 years were included to Osterreich vote for the West.

The first time when Ukrainian was used as an ethnic identity was some 120 years ago by a nationalist in Austro-Hungaria. Before 1922 when Lenin launched Ukrainization politics almost all Russian people called themselves as Russians and it was Malorossia but not the Ukraine which definitely is a Polish word. The Poles called the Ukraine all the neighboring lands including those of Germany and Chechoslovacia.

4 millions of the Ukrainians living in Russia are accepted here just a a sort of the Russians and they seem to be satisfied with that. Sometiomes they are the most outrageous Russian nationalists. Genetically we are one people but mentally 200 years of occupation influenced the western regions. Their only problem is to quarrel the two brother nations. Same as the Montenegrin elites are striving so hard. Otherwise they cannot explain the existance of such artificial states.

Here we go !

It’s not democracy people are after it’s a good standard of living. The two are always confused; today one does not lead to the other. Who wins an election is more to do with who has more money and makes more promises, but all that boils down again to a good standard of living. That is what the west implies to people.

Good job Orthodox Slavic brother Yanu! Keep her out of any power until she admits she's a Russian! Ukraine is to the Russian people what Montenegro is to Serbs.

My dad is a fan of the Greek "leftish" newspapers "To Vima", "Ta Nea"
Some months ago, he told me that he was confident that no ex-soviet state wanted to hear the word "Russia" and that Ukrainians were struggling to gain democracy and ties with the west and that Russia was a danger.
2-3 days ago i asked him if he knew the results of the recent Ukrainian elections. He answered he thought that this blond pro-west woman won the elections.
If the west cannot influence a result, ... then ... just pretends the result is smth different!!!!
