Nicolas Sarkozy, President of France and Barack Obama, President of the USA, congratulated Serbian President Boris Tadić on Serbia's Statehood Day on Monday. It is conspicuous that Russian President MEDVEDEV forgot to do the same. Should we consider this as forgetfulness or a lack of respect?!

State and Army Day marks the day when in 1804 the uprising began in Orašac, but also the day in 1835 when country's first Constitution was adopted in Kragujevac.

Far more important dates for Serbia than 1389 (made popular by Slobo)! Come on Serbia! Today is your day!
