Brammertz, what you expect and what you get are two very different things. All that are in the Hague today have been paid extremely well for surrendering to that mockery of an institution, but Mladic is not interested in money – that’s the difference.

this is also the fault of brammerz, and the so-called intl community. when he took over from what's her name, i made clear that he either take the job seriously and act with all appropriate pressures -- esp. with serbia -- or don't even bother, and quit while he's behind.

Did you make it clear to him?

>>“But that does not mean that everything is ideal today, we need to cross a long road together still, because there is no alternative to arresting Mladić and Hadžić, and that is the message we are always giving our colleagues in Belgrade,” he said.>>

and, sure enough, he's been predictably mushy pushy, which NEVER works for these people. this is what works: you have x days (or weeks) for the capture and extradition to happen. if not, i go to the press. if not, there will be consequences. if not, the world will hear the truth, not some baloney about: well, not exactly full cooperation, but, um, kind of, sort of...

serge - clearly you have no idea who you are dealing with, or the consequences of your (in) action. no mladic in hague, no responsibility, no progress. serbia continues to harbor the worst war criminals, and instead shows a great big smile...

so here is what i suggest now: push the envelope or quit! now. not one more penny of our tax dollars. do your job properly, or get out and let someone w some backbone take over.
